All Blacks vs Springboks I

Vaai seems like a great 'system fit' for how Fozzie wants his forwards to play the game.
Mobile, highly skillful, high workrate and improving at the dark arts.
In future, he might be able to cover 6 from the bench too. That would allow for a 7/8 (like Ardie) on the bench without having a starter cover 6

@crucial you'd have Vaa'i?
Yep. Offers more energy and, although a test against the bokke may not be the traditional place to 'grow' a player, needs games against this type of physical opposition to develop.
Pat T isn't the future IMO. Has had loads of chances and just seems to go missing.A shame cos he sure looks the part in terms of being a big bruiser to compete with Bok/English packs. Massive human being up close when I saw him and the rest of the Blues on a flight earlier this year.
Didn’t get a chance to have breakfast with him or any of his teammates but he took up a lot of room when walking down the aisle of a plane.

i don't really believe in all this "motivating the opposition" guff, this isn't park football
but
we are starting to talk this up to uncomfortable levels.

Geez Laurie, this is eerily reminiscent of when Fitzy said he wouldn’t choose a single Australian in a combined team back in 2003

Yeah - a couple of weeks ago, no-one thought the Aussies would get close to SA.
In theory you'd think:
NZ>Aus
Aus>SASo NZ>SA
But, it doesn't always happen that way.
However, the Boks will be paying plenty on the TAB.

this week franks the form either way
Have the Wallabies been hugely improved by the changes at 10 and 12?
or
Are the Boks really just rubbish
i get the feeling it's a bit from column A and a bit from column B. And we are going to have to be sharp to take advantage of whatever opportunities we get. And stay patient
One thing is that it's starting to get warm in North Queensland. Are we the afternoon game or the night game?

It’s like when everyone thought since Frazier > Ali and then Foreman > Frazier then naturally Foreman > Ali was a logical conclusion.
I don’t know what this has to do with Rugby but shut the fuck up Laurie ‘funeral face” Mains. Predictions like that have a habit of blowing up in faces.

$3.50
Oz at $1.37 to beat the Argies looks like easy money.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmulti!

the Bok away are different to the Bok at home, and while they will always lift for an AB match, and the physicality will need to be top notch from us...there will now be lingering doubts (in thier own minds too) about how good they really are, after we smoked Aus, and they have been beaten by Aus, twice...sure it isnt that straight forward, or maybe thier coach has been targetting this match for 4 years

I think you're right.
But, if Laurie is right about them missing Super rugby, then they should be better for their games against Oz.
Missing big Pieter-Steph and Kolbe won't have helped them. They might get Kolbe back for this game?
-
That point just after half time where they suddenly started playing up-tempo was weird. Faf took a quick tap, they panicked the Aussies, and scored immediately.
And then just, reverted to type?
