Why does this rule exist? Why can't you crawl if not tackled?
Rugby is a game played on your feet.
So jumping should be banned too? Diving?
It's hardly a handy skill though. Who cares if some bloke wants to try crawling
Not sure why you're going to mattresses for this, it's been this way for as long as I've played and watched the game.
Oh I don't care at all, just curious. Seems odd. Like if I'm in open play I can do a few forward rolls right? Fall over and get back up as much as I want? Just not crawl
You can't really roll either.
You have to get to your feet or release the ball.

Man that's demoralizing for the Wallabies. Up a man and down by 18. Sheesh.
It was all due to Will Jordan being at the same end of the field. The Wallabies peeled off the mail en masse to defend against him (Rugby according to Justin TM)
