Wallabies vs All Blacks 3 (Perth)

Had to watch this delayed and haven't read the thread so I'll give my tupopence and see how that equates to the wisdom of TSF.
-
Got the impression the Wobbles were barely hanging on but kind of did it well enough to hang on and be in contention for longer than they deserved.
-
Beauden played awesome but wtf the fuck was with his goal kicking.
-
Red card was bollocks. Could wear a yellow maximum, but even then it was a stretch. Where was the yellow on the Wob for taking the man in the air?
-
Ioanes go ok huh?
-
Akira MOTM

Damon had a shocker on I think BBBR which admittedly became Bridge's try when he tackled a bloke then was penalised for "not releasing". WTF? Tackled and held must release. Dick.
-
I like Blackadder but he's not in our best XXIII
-
Being less convinced by Havili. Has looked less assured as the test season has worn on. However given he is the best option at 12 as our best option at 12 is currently our best option at 13 given the absence of our best 13.
Will read the thread now as opportunity arises. Other thoughts as they come to hand.

Two games against Australia a year is more than enough these days. I'd rather see the ABs play against Japan more often than these multiple one-sided games against Aussie.
I actually enjoyed the Fiji games more. At least you had that immense physical test in the first 60 or so.
I think the ABs should thank the Fijian forwards, was a good test for them.

their anthem always beats ours. So much better
No way. Ours is one of the best imo.
I love our anthem as much as anyone, but it's a goddamn dirge. Aus's is faster, upbeat and uplifting.
As long as we win the rugby I'm happy, but we start behind in the anthem contest

Looks hot
It’s 22 degrees and no doubt a nice breeze across the stadium as there usually is.
Was 1996 the last day test between the ABs and Wallabies?
I seem to recall 1998 had at least one day time test? Tom Bowman making big yards in Christchurch.
Was there any Bledisloe games in 1998?

I'll ask again, who is the lady next to SBW? I don't think it's roz, unless she has a great tan
This is her, I think.

Akira Ioane's big work ons:
Jackling. He's a big guy, but that's not an excuse. Gets the odd turnover for the Blues but gives away ruck penalties too. May lack confidence as well as skills there.
Link play. Not a traditional big six strength, but could up fitness and improve decision making to get involved more in support. First half of 2019 Super Rugby his link play was excellent, maybe lacks confidence or decision making of when to switch lines.
Decision making of when to stay on his lines and when to hit the ruck or link off his line. Does this very well late in the game, but could increase involvement in first 50 minutes by being able to pick when to get involved. That kind of decision making could be the difference between a very good player and a great player.

@old-samurai-jack I agree. I think some people are still comparing him too Nonu, and that's unfair. It's better to compare him with Crotty, and then he's really growing well into that role. He was excellent tonight.

SHUT UP JUSTIN
Liked for content even though I'm unaware of the contexr
Context was that he was talking.
That was one of his worst stints at the mike tonight and he’s had some shockers.
Tripping over himself, spouting his lack of knowledge at the laws then carrying on about his opinion even when he realises it was incorrect, praising Will Jordan effusively whenever he got within 20 metres of the play, calling Bridges try as if he had just stepped and fended his way through the defence.....it was endless verbal diarrhoea.
