North Harbour v Waikato

@yeetyaah I have been to a Harbour game where Westlake were playing Rosmini in the Harbour secondary schools final which was a curtain raiser to a Harbour v Northland game ..there’s was around 6-7 thousand at the schools final , come kick off in the main game , there was only around 1,000 that had stayed ,ever since they moved from Onewa Domain , they have always seemed to have had poor crowds , ironically one of the better crowds they had was when they played your mob in a shield defence but promptly lost it in that first challenge .Harbour in my opinion is more of a football area , unless South African teams play there and they all come out of the woodwork ..

@steven-harris I, and thousands of other Mooloos drove up for that 2007 Ranfurly Shield challenge.
I also went to a later North Harbour-Waikato game there and our group ended up being shown on TV all of the time. There weren't many other people there for that night game so the cameraman got lazy.
Agree about the football crowds. They play the domestic finals there.

@ploughboy said in North Harbour v Waikato:
was happy with the efforts of daiwai ,McWhannell and Sullivan
McWhannell has shown he is one of the best at winning opposition lineout ball. I think Waikato won 4 against the throw in the game. Finau used most often for Waikato.
Dawai provided some size and speed. I still have concerns about using Coombes-Fabling on the wing as he can be outmuscled against the bigger wingers. Wrampling might end up on that wing when selected. Hardman looked solid, and may start this week if Lopeti-Moli's injury is serious.
