Fuck i hate Cronulla. What a collection of absolute grubs. Ennis, Gallen, Fifita, Maloney fluffybunnys to a man.

And coached by the biggest fluffybunny of them all.

I get Gallen and Fifita, but why the Maloney hate - is he particularly grubbish with Cronulla? Ennis is great on 360 so I've liked him ever since watching him on there.
-

Maloney has always been a grub. A bogan grub. It's just when he was with the Warriors, he was our grub.

Ennis? Seriously? You have to ask?
-
That try by Holmes was one of the better ones I've seen this season.

I wasn't asking with Ennis just noting that I like him since I've been watching him on 360 - I've adopted him as 'our' grub too.
-

I don't remember him being particularly dirty? The only guys you listed on the other hand are grubs. If they Josh Reynolds Cronulla would have the pupu platter of grubs headed by their grub coach
-

Maloney is as niggly a grub as anyone in the comp, watch him play. It's not dumb blatant stuff like Reynolds, it's just niggly shit (like Isaac Luke is fond of)

-

Yeah I agree about Maloney. He's up there with Cameron Smith and Ennis with the cheap niggly rubbish. Whilst he was pretty good for us, I always thought he was a bit thick between the ears (duhh he's League player you say...). He struggled to marshall the team around and that's because he isn't a great communicator.

-

waaaaah! Wade Graham tried to take Thurston's head off on Monday night, was rightly banned for a week, meaning he misses Origin, and suddenly there are renewed calls for players to not miss games for "minor offences" (like coathangering some poor bastard because he stepped you).

You want to play GFs and Origin games? don't hit people in the head the week before. Especially when you have carry over points hanging over your head!

If i was churlish, i would mention that the system doesn't appear to need overhauling when kiwi players are missing tests.
-
Just watched the classic NRL game, and it was the Warriors drawing with the Roosters in 2007.

Firstly what a game. But the Warriors were robbed by that orange fluffybunny Shane Hayne.

But the main focus for me was just how good that Warriors side was. I would swap damn near every player we have now for their 2007 counterpart -

Warriors play the Chooks at Mt Smart tonight and it is basically the same team except Ken Maumalo in for Manu and Toa Sipley in for Jacob Lillyman.

Big story of the weekend is the great fair dinkum Australian Semi Radradra has walked out on Parramatta to play French rugby (and probably become a fair dinkum Frenchie).

Mercenary

Queue repeated claims he was never that good anyway

But there will be plenty queuing to make said comments. -
The Warriors have no line speed. So passive and a giant step down on the good teams
-

Sheesh, the Warriors win, but god that was a shocking game!

In Aussie bogans being dickheads again while at brunch today I read Phil Goulds article in one of the shit Oz papers - he was having a cry that Wade Graham was suspended. Apparently the system has failed him and failed OUR GAME!!!!

As M4L notes, no one went all OUR GAME when various Kiwis cop suspensions before tests.
-

Was at the game, not a bad turn-out, and while not flash it definitely was gritty. Warriors probably needed that one.

Some thoughts:

- Roosters defence was impressive, mainly because they were off-side for most of the night. If Maumalo goes to the bin for 10 mins, than SKD should have gone following 5-6 penalties for intentionally being off-side.

- David Fusitua. Best hands in the business. Not only could he catch a cold, he'ld be able to catch the cause of the cold, patient zero, and other random, but still very important, details about the cold.

- Ken Maumalo couldn't catch a cold.

- But we should preserver with him, even ahead of Manu.

- Isaac Luke is really leading this side from the front. Turning into a good signing.

- Solomone Kata. Still can't pass.
-
Shit game between 2 crap teams. Stay off the bandwagon the Warriors won't play finals
-

Pleasing win today I thought. Good to see them grind one out rather than just the winning by throwing the football around like the last two weeks. On top of Sneak's thoughts...

- Johnson looked really injured today. The first twenty minutes he looked like he was playing netball and only passing with both feet planted on the ground. He looked scared to run it and when he got his breakaway, he looked like he was running about half as fast as normal. Hopefully nothing serious. Good try though.

- Solomone Kata blew a certain try by not passing to the guy outside him and deciding to try and run over a defender. I think he forgets that he isn't playing a defensively poor team every week.

- The league sin binning system is shit. How the Roosters could have such a lop sided penalty count and not lose a player to the bin is beyond me. SKD got warned, so everyone else just took over his role of giving away stupid penalties. That said, Maumolo deserved the bin, and probably a penalty try too. He wasn't even looking at the ball when he took the guy out.

- Fusitua is a really exciting prospect for the club, and it's awesome to see Luke back to his previous best. I only wish RTS was available so we could be running almost at full steam with the signings.

- There still isn't a more likeable and enthusiastic player on the team than Charlie Gubb. Even when the Warriors look flat, he still runs around like he's genuinely excited to be out there. I really hope he continues to improve and forge a career in the NRL.
