Blues 2022

@daffy-jaffy Kneepkens couldn't even get a run this season or Narawa. He's (Leo) probably seen that and doesn't wanna come anywhere near the place! Tele'a hardly had a go either for that matter. Only half a game against the Chiefs really and he didn't go too bad. He be better going to a team likely to play him.

This isn’t nice to say, but fuck Kneepkens a little bit - he would have got time at the Chiefs but went to the Blues where there is/was only one space available if that.
The chiefs have shit wingers and he’d have walked in.

@kiwimurph yea possibly. But a couple of lukewarm games from Evans has seen Kata move to 12 this week for Auckland against BOP. He'll want to get as many minutes as he can for Auckland to show Rangi n co. what he can do. Plummer will have first dibs anyway on the 12 jersey next year so yea Tele'a n Evans will be competing for the backup 12 spot.

@nostrildamus he will need an assistant.
Let us ponder who it may be, "hmmmm" I've captioned this....
Looks good in blue.

"MacDonald said a key reason for extending his stay at the Blues is the quality of his coaching group led by assistant coaches Coventry, Halangahu and Afeaki although the first job is to secure a new defensive coach"
The backs struggled to create space this year. I think a lot of that was down to Black's limitations. However I wonder if they should be looking for a backs/skills coach instead? Maybe Halangahu could move sideways into the defence job?
What is Feeney up to? He coached the Barbarians side in the SR u20 competition this year but doesn't seem to be attached to another rugby job yet.
