@taniwharugby I'm leaning towards him.

Who gets on?
I've got Goldie and the two Smiths. Still deciding on who gets the last spot.
The two Smiths pick themselves. I'd chuck in Tony Brown for impact on and off the field. The lost spot, I'd have as a toss up between Kronfeld and Wilson. Leaning towards Kronfeld, just to have a forward in there.

Did you see the Breakdown this week? Quiz question was who has played over a 100 for his province, a hundred for his franchise and 50 for the ABs.
It was Cowan.
No one else has achieved that. Not quite as much, but "Never was, but should have been an All Black" Ash Dixon has pretty impressive stats, too.
134 NPC games, of which 111 for Hawke's Bay
115 Super Rugby games, of which 100 for the Highlanders (possibly more Highlanders games, not sure about that number)
19 Māori All Blacks -

Kronfeld or Randell for me, it wouldn't be a Highlanders selection without at least one Bay boy in the team.

No one else has achieved that.Messam was pretty close. 183 for the Chiefs, 99 for Waikato and 43 for the All Blacks.

He was my answer when watching the show. Thought he’d be close
I also thought DC might also be close to being a 100 test, 100 Super, 50 provincial player but he only played 20 odd for Canterbury -

@crucial Aaron smith I believe just needs 3 more games to brings up 50 for the Turbos.. 102 tests to his name and obviously holds the landers record
That would make sense. That 50, 100, 100 club is an achievement these days.
Only Kevvy and Ma’a in it so far -

I'm hoping he comes back for one more game for Waikato this season. Liam would have brought up the ton last year if not for covid and having to move to Mt Maunganui to stay in the bubble. He will have 50+ combined games for the ABs and Māori.

I’m not convinced that Wilson or Kronfeld really contributed that much as Landers (Otago different story).
I havent read the article, but my second two would likely be from Oliver, Hoeft, Brown, and perhaps Sopoaga or Naholo (both instrumental in the Championship team)

Yeah I was leaning towards Oliver. But maybe "the hand of Dixon" could be above them pressing down like scoring a try.

I don't think Dixon could quite be in that group (although he did pop up as one I thought of), but for many years he was on the bench with Coltman preferred (e.g., 2015 final), so I can't put him in that top four.
Coltman actually has a really strong case, but it should probably be someone from the 1999 team. That would probably make it Brown I guess (although Randal was the captain.
