@chris to be fair he hasn't been such a douche as long as TJ, also to be fair he's said some pretty stupid stuff and really it's a shame on one hand that sky don't rein in the stupid stuff (ie stop turning off subscribers) and on the other hand don't muzzle them because of the crowd
Don't get me wrong I met TJ in an Auckland box once and he seamed very pleased to mingle with everyone after but really when you start hatching possibilities and getting very excited about Auckland losing when it's an unlikely event! Then perhaps after how many years? It might just be time for a wander down to somerset

Poor old TJ he do hoped that the force would win and the crusaders would then rightly be in the the final to then go on and win, whilst some would say it's sad that I look upon TJ this way, just think how sad it is to be so involved in rugby that not only do you live and breathe rugby but your so tainted by your bias that even as a "professional" who is saturated by rugby you still get excited at the remote possiblity that Auckland/Blues might lose but then they don't
A bit like Kirwan then ?
Kirwan doesn't commentate during the game.
No but he’s a comments man and all over Breakdown still in the Rugby media
So like Marshall, Cooper and all the other ex players they put on TV?
Them too my point there is more than TJ
Only TJ commentates games.
Not my point
Point being people in the media showing bias. -

I enjoyed how pained TJ sounded for most of that.
You would appreciate pain being a long time Blues supporter they have put you through some.
All in the past mate, Leon has us playing consistently and much smarter.
Too be seen stayed tuned.
No, look up on the table.

Which is actually besides the point, as TJ is the main commentary and should be better. His bias is petty and I enjoyed him having to suffer through that tonight.
Looking up you haven’t won anything yet 😎

Don’t disagree good to see but win the final and really progress further.
Then next seasons SR will be so good as there are other contenders. -

@chris And A game = a win, I was talking about the game and every game the blues/Auckland play for jeez I actually don't know how long but it's been a very long time, long enough for an employer to notice at any rate
As I keep saying good even though I want the Crusaders to win everything for the sake of the SR other teams need to step up.
I am glad to see it. -

Blues sure don’t look like a championship winning team.
honestly fella, those sound like salty tears.
In the first half we sure as hell did. In the second half, not so much. But overall, led the comp start to finish. Whatever happens, it's been a really solid comp from us -- and remember, we were one dodgy refs call away from being in the SRA final. Blues definitely challenging at the top level, can't wait to break the duck.

Fuck off that's a YC - rugby as a game is ruined.
Why not though? Aren't pretty much all high shots accidents?
No.
Now you get it.
You're clearly much smarter than me because I have no idea what the fuck point you think you've made.
Why isn't it a card?
Already answered that.
Your answer is wrong.
And yet you can't say why, quelle surprise.
You think you're smart, work it out.
You concede it was unnecessary, reckless and high on a prone player. I worked it out!

righto quick match report.
We won Seriously though, a good night out at the Garden.
Good fun warmup game between MAGS and St Kents. Decided in the last minute, MAGS took it out.
Blues forwards again strong. Lineout super flakey for some reason. Scrum seemed solid from where I was sitting.
Dominant first 40, we didn't really pour on the points, despite the dominance. Second half we didn't come out of the sheds. Stupid play, soft penalties, and errors let the Force back in. Very annoying.
That try being rubbed out and copping a YC was pretty harsh for an incidental contact. Annoying as it happens right in front of the refs who just watch in realtime ... but it is what it is. Can't change it.
Looking forward to the final. Hopefully get 40k there, a sellout or clsoe to it would be amazing.
Also, quote of the night from Tribe sport, towards teh end of the first hafl
It's a bubble bath here in the Garden of Eden, filled with the tears of Crusaders supporters. Harsh, but kinda funny. -

Thought we got caught out a bit by our bench.
Goodhue subbed on for Papali’i so we had 3 locks and no open side for quarter of the game. That was when the Force had a glut of possession because of soft penalties. Then the card happened and GCT was taken off
It’s a risk having no specialist 7 on the bench. Hoping for a 6/2 next week
