I suspect both Crusaders and Chiefs fans are very relaxed about today’s final. Chiefs fans should have zero expectations and Crusaders fans would think they will be quite comfortable for them?

I hope it’s a tight game and we put up a decent challenge.

The lack of posts here this week suggest it's a done deal to be fair. Never lsot a home playoff game ... not starting now against this Chiefs team.

Sadly, that’s how I see it. We have exceeded expectations getting to the final.

Nah. I reckon we are right in this. If we win it won’t be pretty it will be a scrappy disruptive affair with scrambling defence and broken play tries.
I just feel that the Chiefs will have a stronger fight in them. They are a really tight unit now that will fight hard for each other.
    I have faith.

@crucial That's what I expect, too. A close, maybe scrappy, game.

😖 Geez crucial, I owe you a huge apology, I just quickly saw the red and black logo you had , never really did anymore than glance at it, and thought you a Crusaders man🙄 . I should look properly, and my father would be disgusted with me (if he was still alive), he a Counties man and his dad had a bit to do with setting up Counties or South Auckland as it was originally known.🙄

Should of known , your posts to reasonable to be a Crusaders man.😛

Anyway ,I think Crsaders would be firm favourites, but there one thing anyone who follows NZ rugby should always remember, players don't gaive a stuff who is favourite, and I really expect the Chiefs to tear into this big time!

I'm not reasonable at all when it comes to Cantabs. 1982 still hurts. I blame Deans.

Cripes, this is not finals fan behaviour at all! I'll get the ball rolling.
All depends on whether the ref lets the cheating Chiefs put numerous hands on the ball in the ruck and slow it down or pinch it. It seems the "ref can't penalize all of us if we do it all together" tactic. Spoiling the game we love.

Codie Taylor goes looking to commit a foul once the opposition threatens and the defence gets out of shape. Call it clever play if you like but accusing others of spoiling the game is firkin hilarious.

    @crucial Just the Chiefs.
The spoiling tactics of the Chiefs all game and then manipulating the ref for a "fortuitous" penalty at the death is going to backfire soon enough, hopefully in this game

You'll be cheering for Codie's game in black.

Ah but when an AB Codie's temperament is stabilized by the calming, noble, Chiefs in Black... All 1 or 2 of them 🙂

I'd be hoping he doesn't have to resort to that bullshit in the ABs.

If you're not "cheating" you're not trying

There’s a difference between pushing the line to test the ref and blatantly infringing way past the line to halt the game though.

I reckon that's a good summation. I also reckon the rest of us would feel the same were it our team in the chief's place. Except the blues of course who can't not talk themselves up😉

Good luck chief's, we're all tuning in for that rare opportunity to see a meltdown upset - probably like the Argentinean fans last year...😒

Which is completely dependent on whether the player or team in question is the one you support or not.

That would have to be the worst rendition of the national anthem I've ever heard.
