Also interesting they keep Jacobson at 8 (usually a 6) and PGS at 6 (usually an 8). Is this calls from higher up to give LJ more time at 8 for later in the year?
LJ has played at 8 the last part of the comp hasn't he? Made a bloody good fist of it too, so I reckon it is a good move to leave him there even with PGS.
I was going to ask if LJ played 8, it would be a good idea regards AB positions...

I thought they might go with Ennor's greater experience over Leicester's match play, but not a big surprise that they didn't.
The legend of Ennor really has grown hugely while he's been injured eh. He's not exactly some old vet! Only really one season over Faingaanuku.
Out of interest it's a 2 hour drive from Braydon to Leicester.

and Stevenson ahead of Tiatia in the reserves. Tiatia is the coaches pet though.
Either that, or that Stevenson runs even more hot and cold than Tiatia
Yeah. Stevenson hasn't moved to BOP yet.

McMillan did say at the start of SRA that they prefer Jacobson at no.8 so he can get his hands on the ball more. PGS can also have some handling errors off the back of the scrum. Or near the goal line.

Exactly. Failed to follow coach's instructions

I suspect both Crusaders and Chiefs fans are very relaxed about todayโs final. Chiefs fans should have zero expectations and Crusaders fans would think they will be quite comfortable for them?
I hope itโs a tight game and we put up a decent challenge.

The lack of posts here this week suggest it's a done deal to be fair. Never lsot a home playoff game ... not starting now against this Chiefs team.

Sadly, thatโs how I see it. We have exceeded expectations getting to the final.

Nah. I reckon we are right in this. If we win it wonโt be pretty it will be a scrappy disruptive affair with scrambling defence and broken play tries.
I just feel that the Chiefs will have a stronger fight in them. They are a really tight unit now that will fight hard for each other.
I have faith. -

I have faith.Geez crucial, I owe you a huge apology, I just quickly saw the red and black logo you had , never really did anymore than glance at it, and thought you a Crusaders man . I should look properly, and my father would be disgusted with me (if he was still alive), he a Counties man and his dad had a bit to do with setting up Counties or South Auckland as it was originally known.
Should of known , your posts to reasonable to be a Crusaders man.

I'm not reasonable at all when it comes to Cantabs. 1982 still hurts. I blame Deans.

Cripes, this is not finals fan behaviour at all! I'll get the ball rolling.
All depends on whether the ref lets the cheating Chiefs put numerous hands on the ball in the ruck and slow it down or pinch it. It seems the "ref can't penalize all of us if we do it all together" tactic. Spoiling the game we love. -

@crucial Just the Chiefs.
The spoiling tactics of the Chiefs all game and then manipulating the ref for a "fortuitous" penalty at the death is going to backfire soon enough, hopefully in this gameYou'll be cheering for Codie's game in black.
