Early on in the piece the TMO said direct contact to the head, so I instantly though red card.
The last replay backed that up too.This is state of origin refereeing- normal rules go out the window.
The video ref was misleading. The primary contact was shoulder to body. Sure the arm contacted the head but sometimes you have give some perspective

Close tight game - much better than I hoped for at this stage.
You know Chiefs were favourites. We had AB centre and loosehead out.

Our exit game is just atrocious and I cant believe we’ve been lucky enough to get away with it for this long.

I'm happy for refs to be super cautious about handing out red cards.
So am I, but how about they do that from the start of the season instead of
deciding not to let the Crusaders lose a home finalin the final? -
