@crucial He'll only miss the Highlanders game if he doesn't play the SR AU final or club rugby on the day of the SR AU final (like Naisarani and Fa'amausili).
Says 'next scheduled match'. I guess there will be some hasty scheduling

@crucial Having thought more about it, have NZ club rugby games ever counted towards SR suspensions? I can't remember.
pretty sure. i have memories of the Crusaders using hte old "yea so-and-so current All Black (probably Moody the fucking thug) was always scheduled to play a club game in the bye round" only a couple of years back, to a huge amount of merriment everywhere.

@mariner4life Moody was suspended for two games and missed two games (against the Blues and Hurricanes) in 2018.

I think they have changed the rules to avoid club games counting for a suspension.
This was one of the changes made ahead of the 2017 SR season:In the determination of an incident and the handing down of any sanctions, the committee will now have the ability to exclude any regular season Super Rugby byes as part of a meaningful sanction. This is a significant change and will ensure all sanctions issued during Super Rugby are treated consistently across all teams.
It seems the Judiciary in the recent cases in SR AU considers missing club rugby games as part of a "meaningful sanction", or the Juriciary Process introduced in 2017 is no longer applied.
