Didn't see that coming. Also think Fury will be a flash in the pan, can't really see him becoming hanging on to his belts for long. Oh and what's the betting that David Haye suddenly comes out of retirement.

Personally hope Joshua proves to be the real deal - seems like a nice humble kid. Tyson can be funny but he does spout some shit, including his anti-gay stuff. Like a lot of "characters" he seems a bit of a cock.

Considering Fury's defensive MO is leading with his head I don't see a long career at the top, myself.

Dr Steel Hammer just got struck off. Klitschko has beaten guys a lot better than Fury in his time. To be fair he is 39 and now more interested in politics than boxing.

opens doors hopefully for JP

That was a horrible match but few good heavyweights bubbling under who will be biting at the bit after seeing Wlad era is over.

Its not over though and I half expect Wlad to win rematch then retire

Kevin Barry's comments on the news last night were interesting. He said that Klitschko's loss was good for the heavyweight division and Parker. He expects Fury to give up 2 of his belts. The reason for that would be to avoid having to fight mandatory challengers.

I so wanted to see Fury lose just because he acts like such a dickhead . If a Kiwi acted like such a toss pot then not even his home fans would like him .

He's a good singer. Would definitely get past the group stages of American Idol.

He's English - I wouldn't put money on him getting past the group stages of any tournament.

you reckon? I don't watch a lot of boxing but klitschko didn't appear to punch him at all until the last round.

guess i can understand why people thought it was boring I thought it was interesting to watch purely from the point of view that Fury, despite coming across as a total spazz, came up with a gameplan that totally screwed klitschko.

and how fast was he? sheesh for a tall unco looking rooster he was very quick.

thought for someone who came across as a giant twat he was very gracious in victory.. loved all the showmanship of it - well cept all that jesus bollocks

Fury is an Old Testament bigot who equates pedophilia with homosexuality and thinks abortion should be outlawed. He is basically scum, as is his dad, who only got out of prison in January after being convicted of gouging a man's eye out in a fight in 2011. The fight was rubbish and the sad fact is we'll probably have to sit through a rematch before the division properly opens up, shame really as Fury could have fought the American chap to unify the belts. Also, would love to have seen Anthony Joshua knock the twat on his arse.

no idea to be honest, none of his fights seem to last long enough to know whether he's getting any better. I don't know enough about the division to suggest who his opponents should be at this stage but i would think its probably a bit early to fight Fury.

Yeah , there is not much around , the division has gone downhill , basically since its became more popular for young African Americans to pursue other sports ,

Kliitchko has a rematch clause if he wants it and im guessing will take it , the other top ranked fighters dont excite you too much, then there is David Haye sniffing around again , who probably has a better chance of getting a big money fight than the rest

Anthony joshua is the big hope out of the top ranked fighters ,

our boy Joseph parker who we have big hopes for ,is on a similar path to Joshua but a bit behind him in age and experience , but the youngest in around those top ten rankings

Furey is actually better than he looks very awkward and faster feet and hands (not overly heavy hands) that it seems.

There are fighters out there that can beat him which makes the division interesting at last

And as for J parker his next fight will be a gauge against a limited fighter like to seem he step up after that as never had a better op to get to a title
