@antipodean that box kicking is aweful. Is Nock injured?

    Ruru was decent last week.

Weird decision there. If it’s a tackle Havilli should have had to release instead he trapped the ball and got a turnover.

Williams has taken his TMO form onto the field.

Have they changed the law around box kicks that go straight up? If not surely the Blues would have been off side.

Ten metre rule? Not sure but I haven’t seen it called in ages.

Time to sub Ruru. Maybe get TJ Faiane out there.

Staggered that Ruru is seen as the best starting 9 against the best super rugby team you would ever see..coaches have got this so wrong ..

He's clearly slow of thought and slow of execution. And his skills aren't good enough to cover for it. It's not like the Blues need a extra loose forward in defence.

@nepia he’s good when he’s playing teams that bring no heat at breakdown..call me biased but Nock has the best pass outside Aaron Smith in the country and the best high box kick in the country ..

As expected, the Crusader's tight 5 proving the difference at this stage. The Blues replacements look stronger so should be an interesting 2nd half.

Geez we're barely hanging on. The Crusaders look a different class with ball in hand as well as on defence. I also blame that 2nd try on Akira throwing an unnecessary offload when we had the ball.

Hard to see a way back at this stage.

I don't think the Blues are too far off. They can easily come back from this.

Blackadder showing total disregard for his body again. He will have a short career if he's not careful. Big asset for the Crusaders this year though.

i just hope they have the belief to stick to their processes and not think they have to pull out some miracles to stay in it

Forwards are fairly even. But the Crusader backs are at a different level.

Black looks a bit ordinary and limited in this game

Taylor and Whitelock arguably the best on the field.

    Havili solid in midfield.

Yeah the Blues have the players to win this if they do it as a team.

So why Goodhue? And this is why Black will not be an All Black. He has no ability to take on the line which would cause some second guessing in the Canterbury backs. They know it is going wide.

Ruru just rushed out from halfback and left the gap for Ethan Blackadder to just walk thru instead of drifting and defending like an extra guard dog ..hope someone in the coaching staff was watching..

@kiwimurph they need to make a four phase rule and then it should be over. Too many inconsistencies across this competition in regards to how long advantage goes on for.
