Great game by the thunder. The blueprint is effective, Donovan has a small unit to change up using Adams Kanter and ibaka to dominate the boards and push the warriors around. The Warriors have feasted from the three point line all season but have cooled a bit under the defensive pressure of OKC. If Green gets a game suspension for his kick to Adams' man zone golden state will be up against it in game 4.

Green's defence to the groin kick is that he was 'following through' on the shot.

I can't see how that works but I guess he is saying that he normally kicks a leg out when taking a shot? If so that must be pretty easy to find evidence on with all the endless analysis and video?
-

Considering the league just suspended a Toronto player for a similar offence he should get a game off if they are consistent -

I am a johnny come lately to basketball and still learning the subtleties of the game, but to me it has been fascinating watching teams coming up with ways to combat Adams. The greatest players and teams on earth are having trouble shutting down a Kiwi baskerballer. Never thought I would see the day. Warriors seem to be going for the physical tactic. Bogut, as the old bull, tried pushing Adams around in the early games but it didn't really work. If Adams' stock is already on the rise, he is going to be one hell an asset if he continues to get the job done with the physical beating he is taking.

Apparently Green is free to play, cleared of any wrong doing.

Draymond Green's foul has been upgraded to a Flagrant Foul 2 and he will be fined, sources say. No suspension

All I'm saying is that his defence should be easy to refute/prove. He says he always kicks out his leg in those situations. Where's the video of it?
-

From ESPN: Green's foul was upgraded from a flagrant foul 1 to a flagrant foul 2, with a $25,000 fine attached, but the league has decided not to issue a suspension.

The NBA was never going to suspend him, as they are hypocrites. But with the upgrade to flagrant foul 2, Green is much closer to an automatic suspension if he gets hit with another flagrant foul. If I was OKC I'd get someone like Collison to foul him hard and see how he reacts. :)
-

Crucial, I heard Mulligan saying that kicking out when taking a shot is banned. So that excuse doesn't wash - pretty lame there was no ban but it seems NBA disciplinary decisions during play-offs are similar to SOO ones. But from what little I know it doesn't even sound like Green is that big a deal??

was listening to the radio before and a guy was on who's son played in a college thing in the US with Green a few years ago who was asking him about Adams, and apparently he said Adams was gonna be big and Green said he'd be 1 and done back then...so sounds like he hasn't been a fan for a while.

He will need to watch himself now and I wonder how not being on the edge of the law will affect his performance
