Thunder only seem to hit straps in second half from the 7 games I have ever watched (Whihc are their last 7 matches)

True.. but that is the opposite of regular season, there was a narrative about them crumbling down the stretch in games. It was a bit of a beat up... but had a grain of truth.
-

Oh right. I was wondering what you were talking about.

Maybe the pep talk they needed.
-

A little 8-0 run by the Warriors in the final minute to close out the half. Iggy providing a spark

-
Big 3rd by the Dubs. After 4-5 minutes OKC was hanging tight. Cut it 7. Then a huge 3 from Curry and then boom after that. It's a 20 point game.

Not making much inroads to the deficit now. -

OKC will be disappointed getting a thumping like this.

But they will be happy to be 1-1 after 2.
-

The margin is unimportant. They got smashed by the Spurs in game 1. What counts is the away win, but they need to win both games at home to hammer home the advantage
-

Yeah GSW had everything to lose tonight, and did well to keep the series alive. It will be a nice reassurance to them that on their day they are good enough to put OKC right away.

But this series is going to 6 or 7, so there is pleeennnnttttyyy more to come here.
-

There is going to be an injury drama and and an ejection in this series.

-

Adams comments were innocent but of course offensive to Blacks because of comparisons made between them and monkeys in the past. Hopefully the Blacks will recover from this offensive moment, flush the dunny and move on. Unfortunately they are a precious bunch and like to play the victim and racism card. My dos pesos as a Kiwi living in this hyper PC country.

As far as segregated schools are concerned pretty sure they don't exist anymore. They might be considered segregated by liberal government types because people of certain incomes tend to live together and therefore the schools are populated accordingly. That does not mean that a Black person or Mexican or whoever has money can not live in these neighborhoods. There are moves by the Obama administration to want to force different socioecomonic groups to live together through zoning laws They erroneously believe this is racism or the remnants of.
-

I haven't seen the game today but I expected GSW to come back hard.

OKC were 5-1 on the road in the playoffs before this game so are now 5-2. At home, their record is only 4-2. OKC needs to hold court at home, which won't be easy.
-

Yeah it's going to have some drama no doubt. It's already chippy.

Did you see that footage of KD and the expletives at Dion Waiters -

Not at all. But the word has strong slavery connotations for black americans. They would probably rather hear a guy in a movie use the "N" word before referring to a black guy as a monkey. And I am sure the americans don't even realise Adams is polynesian

No it wasnt cringe. Fucks me off that people 'cringe' about non events like this. Just pandering to the social justice warriors... who tell us we should be ashamed or cringe about the latest PC bollox.

Yes, when I said cringe, I meant cringe at how it would be interpreted given his audience, rather than the expression itself.
