Well looking on the bright side, I can sit back and enjoy this one without knawing my fingers to the bone. Will be round a mates house - we'll cook up a meal, shove it the oven, have a few glasses watching the game with the kids - then the families will eat together share a few yarns - then off to the pub. <br><br>
Been following this routine for most matches now and it's been a great way of getting the kids into it, plus I don't get smashed during the game which makes it much more enjoyable.<br><br>
I don't know who I'm going to root for - ABs easily the team of the tourney, but Aus have serious underdog status, and Poms are conditioned to support hope over expectation. So ultimately I hope whoever plays the best rugby wins and it doesn't hinge on a poor decision or a piece of bad luck. <br><br>
It would certainly be a fitting end for some of the modern legends in the AB camp - but sport rarely gives you what you deserve, you are what you take. Roll on Saturday. -

<p>Friends of mine (oddly enough, ones in their 30s who have kids) have decided there's no better way to see things through to the 5am kickoff than having a beer pong tournament kicking off around 10pm. I anticipate I will get knocked out in the first round (hopefully) then either a) head home around 1am, have a short sleep then get up at 5am or b ) blast through to 5am, head home at 7am then go in to work at midday.</p>
