Reed Prinsep (Canterbury/Crusaders/Te Te Rarawa) -
Fletcher Smith is the unlucky player from the original squad. Karpik replaces the injured Prinsep.
-
Roots is the reserve lock too.
-
They've still used the 2020 Super Rugby teams.

Just noted that Prinsep has Crusaders not Hurricanes. A typo or clue?

Sadly it is still 2020

-
Bit weird that they haven't named the MP side.
-

Moana Pasifika have stronger forward reserves, and it will be a good test for the young Maori props.
Hopefully Nanai-Seturo gets time at fullback. I would have started him there myself.
-
That's a strong team. Hopefully the two devastating wingers see plenty of ball.
-
I think Moana Pasifika might win this game.
-
Hearing that Northland prop Ross Wright has been bought into the NZ Maori reserves for Saturday nights game ..wondering who has pulled out...?
-
Wright is definitely with the team based on the photos from today.
-
Marcel Renata is injured , Pouri Rakete Stones into the starting lineup ...Ross Wright onto the reserves bench ..
-
was a cool piece on Breakfast this morning with Messam and Taukei'aho
Isnt showing up on thier 'clips' but is about 2 hr 21 mins into the full ep.
-
Match programme:
No updated NZM team list if Renata is out. Mike Fraser is the ref.

Who is everyone picking? The Pacific bench looks very strong so maybe it will carry them through?
-
Two great videos.

I'm leaning towards MP even though I will be wearing a Maori jersey to the game. I just hope it's an entertaining game and a fitting end to an unusual year of rugby.
-
Billy Proctor is about the most blessed player in NZ rugby at the moment huh?

He's the Jordie Barrett of Super and Baabaas rugby.
I'll be in bumfuck wine country near Cessnock so not sure if I'll get to see the game. Not sure if wifi has reached them yet.

Not a palate I am familiar with. Doesn't sound like it ages particularly well. However Cessnock did have a WWII cavalry regiment so you might find a mount that agrees with you.
-
@nostrildamus sounds like far too much fun for @Nepia
-
They look two evenly matched teams, and much emotion to be expected from both camps.Hope the game is a fitting finale to 2020.Will be played on the best turf in NZ so no excuses!Pick the Moana Pasifica by not much.
-
@trodthesod I think it'll be better than puma Oz, or the 8 nations farce, I mean final.
-
Apparently Matt Skipwith-Garland has come onto the bench. Anyone else aware of this?
-
Not Fletcher Smith?
-
@Number-10 Instead of whom? Not Lowe, I hope?
-
Ah bugger, Skipwith-Garland has come in to replace Jonah Lowe. Not a bad injury, please!

If you take any notice of TAB odds, the Maori are now stronger favourites.
