How many points is that wind worth

That's the million dollar question really.

Lots of breaks in play - tough to execute much, but I'd have been a lot happier if Ta$man had another 7 points to go with a half they largely dominated.

See what happens when the teams turn round - playing into a gale in the wet....

Blackwell’s proving he’s well deserving of that Canes contract extension made -10 metres and knocked the ball on in a stupid position on the 22.

Ta$man doing a good job of getting away being offside 3rd of 4th defender off the ruck. But hey still really good d regardless we’re struggling big time.

@Chris-B 11 point lead in the wet with the dominant scrum is nothing to sneeze at.

You think JGB would be controlling the game considering it’s his home ground there playing at. Just goes to show how rubbish he is I can’t wait for Morgan and Love to develop.

Hopefully Savea starts doing something at 12 considering he’s done nothing all game except cost his team 5 pts.

Why would you take the shot in that situation. You are still down 2 scores if you kick it.

Yeah - that was a good effort, especially by the forwards. Dominant scrum, dominant maul - a few problems with lineout throwing in the gale, but to be expected really.

Shout out to Isaac Salmon, who I thought might be a weak link, but he was excellent in the scrum.

Defense was really aggressive and much of the time Wellington was losing ground with ball in hand.

Hope Havili is OK - not sure there were many arms in the tackle that took him out, but requires a closer look.

Ta$man was more equipped to play in these conditions.

Sione Havili was probably Ta$man's best, while Goosen was Wellington's best.
