Foster possibly sees him as a wing

Stats and facts

Halfback Aaron Smith will play his 95th Test on Saturday and move onto the top ten list of most capped All Blacks of all time.
-
Outside back Jordie Barrett has scored 89 points in his 19 Tests (13 tries, nine cons, two pens) and when he reaches 100 points, he and brother Beauden will be the first pair of brothers in the world to have each scored 100 points in international rugby for their national team.
-
In the last Bledisloe Cup Test in Auckland, Captain Sam Cane scored his 70th point (14 tries) in his 70th Test match.
-
The All Blacks and Australia will be playing their 169th Test against each other. New Zealand has won 116 of those matches, Australia 44 with eight draws. The All Blacks have held the Bledisloe Cup since 2003.

Who gets subbed in the backs will be interesting.
Does Mo'unga get replaced at some stage to allow BB to move to 1st 5 and JB to fullback?
Roane is more likely to play on the wing than at centre with Laumape also on the bench. I don't think both midfielders will be subbed.

Fuck i wish they’d play the ‘not so long ago best wing in the world’ Rieko on the wing ahead of ‘not a winger’ Jordie
Don't we all? Still not convinced about Frizell. Hopefully Paps comes on and has a blinder.

That is my guess, starting centre in game 1 appears to be down pecking order unless he is there as a wing primarily.

@mariner4life green but no fear, perhaps also the reasoning for us to pick our bench the way we did

Yep, a strategic bench. Replace JG with Laumape, move BB to 10 and put Roane on JBs wing while JB moves to 15.
Brings BBs experience in closer to finish the game while adding firepower.
Also Oz are scratching a little in the centres so Laumape could cause a little havoc. -

@akan004 i think the counter if he had would be that foster has been part of the system for a long time and so he should have a good feel for what he wants to do where as Rennie is still sorting the deck
Yep, Rennie is still working out who his players are, what his combinations are. Foster has seen that first hand for years.
