@sparky No Coles?
One of those toss of a coin selections. But Aumua has better Game fitness and form.

Canes4life's team:
- Moody, 2. Taylor, 3. Tu'ungafasi, 4. Tuipolotu, 5. Whitelock, 6. Sotutu, 7. Cane, 8. Savea (only because Cane is captain) - if he wasn't then I would go Grace, Savea Sotutu) 9. Smith, 10. Mo'unga, 11. Ioane 12. ALB 13. Goodhue 14. Jordan 15. J Barrett 16. Aumua (if Coles is out) 17. Tu'unukuafe 18. Lomax 19. Vaa'i 20. Grace 21. Perenara 22. B Barrett 23. Reece
Don't like your Midfield balance. Would have Clarke start on the Left Wing. No real arguments with the rest.

So does this game actually exist? This weekend?
Complete with a full crowd.

Still feels surreal the wallabies are crossing the Ta$man. I've heard jack shit about it except on here

2 days beforehand so Friday
Foster will name his first All Blacks test team on Friday

Juicy odds for the Wallabies.
Paying $6 in Australia.

I'm going with:
Moody, Taylor, Laulala, S Whitelock, Tuipulotu, Frizell, Cane, Sotutu, A Smith, Mo'unga, Clarke, ALB, R Ioane, J Barrett, B Barrett
Subs: Coles, Karl T, Ofa T, Vaa'i, A Savea, TJP, Goodhue, Jordan
I know that backline bench isn't exactly punchy, but I feel BB is just too good to leave off for 40mins. And he is well capable of playing 80 and still sparking something in the 75th. Likewise Ioane deserves to start, though I feel for Jack G having played out of position all year.
This looks like a big, strong team, capable of breaching the line in attack and knocking people over in defence. Jordie deserves a start with the point of difference his height and kicking provides.

A team I'd be interested to watch play:
1 Moody
2 Taylor
3 Tu'ungafasi
4 Whitelock
5 Tuipulotu
6 Papalii
7 Cane
8 Sotutu
9 Smith
10 B Barrett
11 Clarke
12 Lienert-Brown
13 Goodhue
14 Ioane
15 J Barrett16 Coles
17 Tu'inukuafe
18 Lomax
19 Frizell
20 Savea
21 Perenara
22 Mo'unga
23 Jordan -

I like your forwards.
But not so much your backs.
Having said that I'm still not 100% on how I would mix by back division.
BB would start, somewhere. Probably 10.
ALB at 12 and Goodhue at 13 in his specialist position
Reiko on one wing.
Jordy 15.
Leaves one spot at 14. So start Clarke and Reiko o n the wings and work out who is best on the right.
TJP, Mo'unga and AN Other on the bench. Maybe DMac. All positions covered.
My other option that I'd be OK with is RM at 10, BB at 15, JB at 14, Roane at 11. Bench TBC.
Am ok with Roane at 13 but do not want to see JG at 12.
Most underwhelming wing selection would be Bridge and Reece.

@voodoo Really like that team. Only question mark I have is Jordie on the wing. Is he fast enough to be on the wing? Not sure. Would probably stick with Reece for the first couple of tests and then give Jordan a go in some of the RC tests.
Yeah that's fair. Trade off between the height and size he offers and the express pace he lacks. Guess you could also have him interchange with his bro throughout too

If JB is on the wing he is rather too close to the prospect of quick defensive throw-ins for my liking.

Please remember to title your 23s with what I would pick vs what I think will be picked, then we can argue about it accurately!
I have no idea what (I think) they will pick.
Hell, you can see I have no idea what I would pick ...

@Crucial id be more inclined to start Goodhue with Ioane on the wing, moving in later when you bring on Clarke
Backward move in Roane's development. Sure he can cover the wing but I think that they have to fully invest in him at 13.
Imagine what his mind will go through after putting in all this effort and performance at 13, getting selected because of it and then not being trusted.
Also the guys in the squad selected as wings will be confused why a centre was picked ahead of them. -

Biggest problem for me is that unless we start Cane and Savea, a combination I don't care for at all, we will have inexperienced players at six and eight.
Nightmare scenario is a starting lock forced off early with injury.
Frizell isn't a debutant. 9 tests over two years is OKish.
Cane, Frizell, Sotutu would be my preferred.
