@Stargazer I prefer Lomax so it's not too much of a loss IMO. He also gets to debut on his home patch so it actually works out well.

Simple Aussie game plan - hurt Mo’unga
Who goes to 10 if Richie Mo'unga goes down in the second minute? DMac, TJP or Jordie. None fill me with confidence as Test First Fives.
DMac
The thought of that would give me nightmares
The last time DMac played at 1st 5 for the ABs they put 50 pts on France.
Normally I'm not interested in people using facts to try and highlight issues with my argument, but that was a French team defeated by a backrow of Frizzel, Todd and Luke Whitelock.

Yep under the roof in the 3rd test. France had one foot on the plane and were always going to get pumped.

This sort of provincialism is disgusting. One country, one All Blacks.

Is that a half hearted attempt to create some conflict? If so good try, it's very calm on the boards today

Agreed, that’s why both you and I are calling for the replacement of former Hawkes Bay schoolboy and current Canterbury/Crusaders winger George Bridge with, say, Aucklander Clarke, right?

It needs to be called out for what it is.
@KiwiMurph my selections have players from Ta$man, Taranaki, Northland... and the odd Cantabrian

Looks like it will be wet with 40 kph winds.
In those conditions securing ball off high kicks is going to be even more critical. Could be a lot of 50/50 ball.

Well thank God we have picked a tall fullback.
J Barrett and McKenzie would be a great fence painting duo

Question for NZ Ferners, are Sky offering this game in Ultra HD?
They don't have 4k with current sky box. The proposed new one (2022?) Should have that, along with being a multi streaming box

96 was old school balls, muddy fields and an absolutely unprotected stadium. Athletic park was amazing when the weather was good, but goddamn when it was bad it was awful. Still little better rugby watching than the Mallard Stand.
But that weather was truly atrocious, and to pull ou the skills on a day like that was remarkable. I was i ntown, but couldn't land a ticket at the time (and didn't try particularly hard, given the weather)
