Just having lunch with the Wallabies in Christchurch airport
Do I sense a @jegga yarn coming up ?
I walked past the Intercontinental on the way to walk this week, and saw the AB bus pulled up outside each morning... led me to consider getting up a bit earlier one day to go have breakfast with them, but thought... "nah, fuck it".
I mean, what's the point? There's no dMac, Kaino, or even Squire.Joe Moody must be gutted he's not considered worthy company
Moody by himself? Who's gonna be bothered sharing that anecdote?
True, who wants to hear about scrums, weightlifting and protein shakes.

Nah, left them alone. Some big units.

@ACT-Crusader Howlett could beat a man on the outside, Bridge is the king of the cutback and setup. Safe, predictable, great for Super rugby level.
I don't think George is a lot like Doug, nor a lot like Caleb.
I reckon he's more in the mould of Cory Jane or Israel Dagg.
Nah, Zac Guildford. Speed, hard working, not elusive.

Any word on how he handles his booze ?

Wasn’t he one of ones in SA abusing locals?

Huh? Dagg and Jane aren't even really of the same mould. Remember Dagg made his name on individual brilliance not on workrate etc.
Bridge was a good selection last year, but his game didn't appear to transfer to test level.

Beauden out, DMAC in
Bugger. It does brown up the back three at least though......

Noooo.
Not aimed at DMac, just disappointed there's no BB.

@Chris-B said in Bledisloe One: Wellington, October 11:
Not thrilled about that.
I would have moved Jordie to fullback and brought in Sevu Reece.
Thrilled about that. Reece can eat a bag of dicks and DMac will make the Fern match thread interesting.

@Nepia Well, no-one is a clone...
They were wing-fullbacks - as opposed to power wingers or out-and-out speedsters.
They're the two who are as close to Bridge in my mind, as anyone.
It’s just weird to pick such good attacking players to compare him against. Guildford was a wing fullback too, worked hard like Bridge and had excellent pace.
I wouldn’t say either beat people with footwork, so a better comparison than Jane or Dagg.

Yeah, Guildford is probably closer. They're both great if put in space and they're both good at getting in positions to put in space.
Last year I wanted Bridge to be our right wing/fullback style dude but they picked him to replace our attacking left wing.

This is worse. Hilarious
