@Machpants Yes, unfortunately it is a common problem with a lot of press conferences.
So the main points were that the ABs might not take 11 extra players to Aust now, and Coles is available for selection.
Shouldn't have to take the extra 11 with no quarantine now going into Oz
EDIT Snap

He didn’t sound that certain to me, I think they will take more players due to the fact it can change quickly

NZH article on Fozzies interview "Separated by the Ta$man sea, confined to their respective domestic Super Rugby competitions due to travel restrictions, New Zealand and Australian rugby players have not squared off in 2020, adding a layer of intrigue to the pre-match chess movements."
Fuck reporting is of a low standard around rugby
"For the All Blacks there's been no chance to watch New Zealand teams combat the Brumbies' rolling maul (ask the Chiefs); no chance to assess the Reds' attacking flair (ask the Crusaders). "

@Machpants March was last year in Covid years!

And both Laumape and S Barrett are progressing well, but neither are available for selection.

Liked his answers about the new players. Seems more steely eyed than normal
Must be weird to be asked questions. Became a bit for Hanson to direct the press to Fozzie at times.
Yeah, if this was a signal of a Fozzie taking on the mantle, it was quite noticeable change.
Looks ready to go. A few big decisions ahead. Do we still have to wait till Thursday?

@Bovidae except you can't hear the questions, and it made me realise that I'm a bit bored of laconic drawling coaches.
it was the same with their press conferences all through the world cup ,
listening to the AB coaches answer questions except you cant hear the questions ,
you would think they could get that sorted

@Bovidae Interesting commentary about PUJ unless I couldn't hear the question correctly.
Praising his running lines and difficulty to tackle?
Foster also said that PUJ is only in camp for Tues and Wed so they could have a look at him.

All Blacks coach Ian Foster has released three players from his hefty 35-man squad for provincial duty this weekend.
Uncapped Canterbury loose forward Cullen Grace, Ta$man tighthead prop Tyrel Lomax, and midfielder Thomas Umaga-Jensen, are all available to play in round five of the Mitre 10 Cup.

Liam Napier’s article on the Herald seems to suggest Savea will be at 8...
Yeah, read that. Napier often gets the early week predictions quite close.
He also talks about BB, RM and JB all starting. Hasn't made a call on the midfield though.Personally I'd rather we keep experience on the bench rather than bank on finishing with inexperience.

Tyrel back to play for us vs BoP.
That should shore up the scrum.
Fozzie not forgetting he's from Waikato!

so he will choose the, at best, 3rd best 8 in the country (he's probably 4th to be honest)?
that is a real fucking good start Fozzie you fat fuck.
Pick him at 7, or don't pick him.
This is what you get when you value continuity over everything else.
