@Kiwiwomble Nonsense. Our fringe defence was garbage and Australia made big gains down the blindside all day. Frizzell is a clear weakness.

Paps or Grace has to come in for Frizell and Hoskins for Ardie.

@Stag Savea sure isn't an 8, and it showed alright! His defence was chop.

@Kiwiwomble true but our problems in general are at 6 and 8 where her plays, and also with the head coach.

I thought most of the backline was a much bigger weakness than the loosies, frizell had more tackles than cane at half time

I don't think he was terrible, but neither do I think he added much.

Pur forwards were not any harder than last year. And that was substandard

Cane is gutted. Easily our best today.

Caleb Clark nailed down a starting position in my opinion , so strong

He nailed down a starting position before the test started. Picking Bridge ahead of him is just braindead bullshit. There's a lot of daylight between those two players.

Worse still they paired Bridge up with DMac and Jordie. We had no variety and no real power in our back three.

Exactly why I was worried about the safety first selections. We have gone backwards since 2019.

Also the 1994 streak goes next week unless Aussie really under perform. There is nothing from the past few years that shows they can make the necessary adjustments.

Ofa doesn't surprise me. To the naked eye he's trying to smash every tackle he makes, meaning he's missing a few. Needs to pick his moments rather than always look for thr big shot

Look at that Sam cane coloured egg all over shark's face

@Kiwiwomble tackle count means nothing. Dominant tackles where you stop people in their tracks Is what we need. We never talked about Kaino’s tackle count. It was the impact of the tackles.

I'm looking forward to some great comments about how super coach Rueben Thorne doesn't rate Akira Ioane.
