@crucial the great thing about doing some stuff in the media is relationships you have made along the way .., I have 2 or 3 sources whom I keep close to my chest even they don’t know about this site..only relaying what has been handed on , get the odd thing wrong but in most cases the info passed on is close to the mark .

@steven-harris well that's interesting. Unsure how I feel about that. But it makes sense as Taranaki are the heart of Chiefs country.

@steven-harris said in NPC - news, injuries etc:
Got some oil yesterday that Lachlan Boshier is heading offshore after the Bunnings NPC..,no real surprise I guess given that’s he’s had no love from the All Black coaches ..
Also Jordie Barrett is a possible Chiefs signing for 2022.jeez, that would be a hell of a blow for the canes

@machpants ..you win some you lose some , on saying that you would be naive to think that his agent was negotiating with another franchise..

I personally appreciate it when you guys share some of the stuff you’ve heard, whether it turns out or not, because it gives us a peek into the ‘real’ world that you guys negotiate - and something for us to talk (bitch) about.

@gt12 much of my information comes through coaches that are close to the scene or fathers of players and in some cases the coaches themselves or in the case of Jordie Barrett a tip someone in the media who mentioned to me that Jordies agent was negotiating with a couple of franchises which happened to be both the Chiefs and the Canes but more likely the Chiefs ..aaahhh wrong ..!..Anyway I reckon this forum is the best place for getting potential player movements ..
There are some stories I actually sit on out of respect to the individual or the team , some of it not good . -

I'd have enjoyed it because we could then directly compare he and Dmac's terrible respective decision making on an objective basis.

@mariner4life was thinking the same tbh 😬

The Chiefs Rugby Club’s Kotahitanga award for Outstanding Contribution was awarded to Paul Galletta for his outstanding commitment and work ethic he has demonstrated for the Club. Galletta, the Gallagher Chiefs Assistant Manager, delivered over and above his job description and was credited as the worthy recipient of the award. “Paul, or to most known as Shaver, has been immense for the club. His hard work behind the scenes has not gone unnoticed and this award is recognition of his commitment to his job.”
