Also Izzy gets to defend his belt against the Vettori we don't like.

    Brilliant card which had everything

Masvidal should hand over his BMF belt

Honestly he should and hand it straight to Thug Rose.

I hope no one mentions that belt again and we can pretend the whole cringey saga never happened

Bit late commenting on UFC 261. I was cheering for Rose but expecting her to lose.. great finish. Usman beating Masvidal like that comprehensively ends that rivalry. Gutted for Crute.

I know most people would pick someone else but I think Shevchenko is the best female UFC fighter. I've been saying that for a while now. She can beat anyone in her division by any method she wants. Despite the judges, I thinks she's 1-1 v Nunes when she was up in the incorrect weight class

No one posted the Weidman injury? I'll spoil it.

Here's Izzy and Bareman talking about the Jan fight, Whittaker wanting more time & Vettori

Also a comment on the NZ media at the end

Well Prochazka might be the next big star. His hands are low and someone will make him pay eventually but that striking was spectacular

Sounds like he’ll fight the winner of Jan v Glover for the belt.

From sherdog, here’s the elbow that finished it

Oliveira v Chandler was fun. So many twists in a quick fight

Co-main was hard to watch as a Ferguson fan. Not a huge beating, but he was never in it

    @MiketheSnow

Did you see the Mason Jones fight yesterday? He looks well rounded for a new kid.

    Yeah, very patient and composed.

Lovely balance and weight transference, liquid.

Shame about the ending, but he’ll know in future to finish it when the opportunity presents itself

    Great result for Tybura

Good card tomorrow. Here's my guesses

    Adesanya vs Vettori
Vettori will be hoping he can impersonate Jan. Obviously he's not as big, plus he's faded in later rounds. He's proven he can take good shots and keep pressuring.. probably needs to get early clinch positions and/or takedowns to drain Izzy.
Adesanya by KO in the 4th is my guess. I doubt he'll risk throwing a knee, maybe an upper cut on a desperate takedown attempt is the decisive shot

    Figueiredo vs Moreno
Going for the upset here, Moreno keeps improving and exceeding expectations. It appears Figueiredo had another tough weight cut

    Edwards vs Diaz
I thought Edwards was ready to have some big fights back in 2019. Since then he's had 18 seconds of action in two years. A win here probably gets him a title shot because Usman is running out of people to beat. Edwards should be comfortable if he can keep his output high

    Maia vs Muhammad
Maia has a decent chance but at this stage of their careers Belal should be too good

    Craig vs Hill
Not many people picking Craig. I think he'll be able to get a hold of Hills neck

    Riddell vs Dober
Close to a 50/50 for me. Likely fight of the night. Riddell looked a little drained at weigh in, that makes me lean towards Dober. I hope I'm wrong

I should learn my lesson and stop picking against Riddell

Entertaining fight as expected. Tough first round and then got better and better.

    He’s probably earned a bonus

Izzy dedicating the win to Fau Vake

Wants to fight Whittaker in Auckland. That should be in a stadium.

[edit]Izzy wants the fight to happen in October. Dana White thinks it’s almost impossible to have that in NZ or Aus[/edit]

    Tough as fuck fair play

Dober missed a trick by watching his work

    Paul Craig was immense.

Nate Diaz, what can you say. Dominated but could have snuck it. He'll always get high profile fights when he pulls out performances like that.

Edwards may have to wait for a title shot.

Moreno. Passing of the baton. Beautiful.

    Adesanya is nails.

Yeah White said Colby is next.

Edwards v Masvidal would be a fun one

    Picks for the weekend?

    Dustin Poirier v Conor McGregor
    Gilbert Burns v Stephen Thompson
    Tai Tuivasa v Greg Hardy
    Irene Aldana v Yana Kunitskaya
    Sean O'Malley v Kris Moutinho

Will cheer for Conor though. It's more fun when he's in the mix for the title.

Thompson too fast and will keep the fight at distance

Hardy is improving and I'm picking a slight upset. Money is against Hardy because he loses massively in the likability contest
