Holy shit see old mate win that fight from his back with the hammer fists? Brutal
Justifies all those fights i tried to win laying on my back...
Wow! Who was that?
Niko Price. Great finish.
Trapped the head in the crook of his ankle, foot, calf then slammed him. -
Volkanovski showed he was legit on debut, with a unanimous decision over 10th ranked Elkins.

Yeah. Maybe the second.
Creative finish though as Price was getting roughed up prior to this

Old news now, but another kiwi got a UFC contract last week - Kai Kara France
The timing suggests Adesanya and Hooker's recent form helped get this over the line.
125 division has been a bit dull because DJ has been too good (I hope Cejudo changes that). At least kiwis have a reason to follow this division more.

Torres babboozled by Perez's lightning speed & accuracy
Early contender for Fight of the NightPRELIMS

Moraes toughs out a unanimous decision in a scrappy fight
Sayles showed his inexperience on his debut
Looking forward to his next fightRAMOS v KANG

SWANSON v MOICANO
Moicano too long for Swanson and makes quick work for the submission finishI watched the main card and really enjoyed it. Had a bit of everything. The Johnson v Cejudo was a bit of a masterclass, technically while I was just on the edge of my seat for the entire Dillashaw v Garbrandt fight because it just seemed like anything could happen. All the main undercard fights had something unique to offer too.
One note on the Swanson v Moicano fight... I don't think I've ever seen that sort of impact from a jab before?

Yes it was amazing.
Maybe Arlovski v Sylvia 2, when Arlovski jabbed Sylvia half way across the ring

Very sus from USADA. Jon Jones' suspension just happens to end a week before a gigantic Madison Square Garden PPV. UFC is turning into a joke.
Hardly suss.
Jones gets caught. Has ban. Ban expires. UFC event with newly instated Jones.
If his ban had finished in September he'd be fighting in October.
Take the tin foil off.

In other news, been some great fights over the Summer.

How do you explain the 15 month ban for Jon Jones?
This is not a first time offender, this is a guy who has been caught cheating multiple times, ran away from another drug test, had a DUI etc etc.
The whole thing completely stinks.
The UFC need $ fights to pay off their debt. Jones = $. Therefore they organise it so Jones comes back early. It's a total farce.
Here is some of the reaction to the decision
-
That's a USADA problem which the UFC is maximising.
Like all organisations.
I could care less if we see Jones fight again.
-
There's a bit of a fight coming up this weekend apparently
-
Prediction?
Al Iaquinta is a decent fighter, but the fact he struck Khabib so many times makes me think it could be an early KO for Conor.. at the same time I don't see Conor getting up if Khabib gets him down and starts mauling him.
The whole fight depends on when the first successful take down is??

First and foremost hopefully all the bouts take place. Recent history has me worried about that.
From the bottom,
