The usual Izzy video but with a few boxing cameo's. A short chat with Tyson Fury, plus David Nyika & Joseph Parker

I wouldn't be surprised if the French MMA fighter towards the end of the video turns up on the Contender series soon. Bareman has hinted that he might have a couple of fighters on it this season (presumably Navajo Sterling)

Ultimate Fighter still interesting enough to watch

    Been some very good cards

    UFC 289
Fight of the Night performance from Erceg (Aus)
Zahabi, Jasudavicius, Barriault, and Mallot flew the Canadian flag well
    Oliveira smashed Dariush
Nunes won and retired as female GOAT

    UFC Fight Night
Fight of the Year contender between Vettori and Cannonier

    Tafa fighting this weekend

And what should be a banger between Emmett and Topuria

Cannonier's cardio and Vettori's chin made the fight.. but Vettori looked so easy to hit. JC recovered well after getting rocked twice early

Not sure what it means for the division though. There still seem to be a big gap back from Adesanya/Whittaker to the rest now... unless Du Plessis is better than I think (a tri nations top three??)

Maybe Cannonier should fight the loser of Whittaker v Du Plessis?

Some great bouts and finishes in the Main Card of UFC Fight Night : Emmett v Topuria

    Brendan Allen looked good
    Huge KO from Onama
    Barber 2.0 looked vastly improved
Masterclass from Topuria in an absolute battle

    Elves is not dead

    Comeback of the Year contender

    Amazing

    Sean Strickland is a legend

    On the eye poke

Bisping: Talk to me about those eye pokes. How hurt were you in Round 1?

Strickland: Oh man I almost got pregnant off that one. It was pretty deep you guys

Hooker & Adesanya's picks for the weekend. Izzy picking Du Plessis.. Obviously he's hoping for a new opponent.

I'm picking all the Aussies, plus the Kiwi, Moreno, Price and obviously Nickal vs a last minute opponent. I hope I'm wrong and Lawler finishes with a win

Tougher fight for Volkanovski that the odds are indicating

    I'm curious about these picks

The saffa to drag Whittaker into a brawl? Pantoja because of their history?

    @MN5 hes terrible aye....

Dircus looks horrendous on the feet and scores a powerful KO win haha.
Really looks like an amateur. Tough though, Like a Vettori who can actually hurt people. May give adesanya Trouble but just seems way too stiff and slow.

Volk way too good. Great win for Hooker chin seems to be back.

Great card, good battles and a few upsets

Volk mauled Yair. Hard to see where the next challenge is at this weight

Hooker turned things around after a tough start. Not sure how that was a split decision, at least the result was correct. Finished the fight with a broken bone in his arm (the same wrist that cancelled the last fight?)

Du Plessis winning is great for the division

Happy I was wrong about Lawler

Really classless. That bizarre racist rant was cringeworthy. Let the man have his moment for fuck sake. Beating Whitaker like he did is huge, his awkward defence will be tough for anyone to breach.

Great afternoon of fights, bloody entertaining.

Bo Nickal showed real stopping power.

Hooker showed immense heart and toughness.

    Volk too savvy and tough.

Blame the UFC, it was pre-planned. On certain fights they've been bringing in the next challenger/current champ into the octagon to set up the next fight. It has always been cringey. Particularly because one guy is fresh and one guy just had a fight. I've never seen it 'work'

Preplanned or not there wasn’t any excuse for Izzy to act like that. du Plessis on the other hand reacted really well.

What an absolute cock bringing all that race shit into things.

@MN5 this goes back further between them. He questioned how African Adesanya was. It’s dumb shit but it keeps some people engaged I guess
