Hurricanes 2021

@mikey07 Taumauteine is average and I don't think he will get a contract extension.
The Canes have a tough decision to make on who they will cut out of Booth, Campbell and Roigard. Roigard looks to have plenty of potential so they might want to lock him up for the future.

Campbell and Roigard are younger and offer more

@mackerzzzz I totally agree, I like Booth but he is getting on and it’s time to plan for the future.

If Roigard is going to be playing rugby and not allowed to race, can I have his car please

There's a spot spare on the bus for any willing ferner - it's not like they're going to hire someone with sensible ideas.
-
@delicatessen Looking at the Hurricanes website, that is Ben Castle's job! He's the current General Manager - Rugby. I fully expect Darren Larsen to get the gig, so he can ruin Hurricanes Development and Recruitment with more authority. Pro forma vacancy ad.
-
@mikey07 Quite right according to this published lineup that has him starting. http://www.clubrugby.co.nz/wellington/games-results.php?competition=1&season=18&round=7
Wainui look to have a fairly handy backline when you see TJ Va'a is in at first five. They also have a fairly huge guy in the 14 jersey that could cause a few tackling problems for Norths. -
Hurricanes playing club rugby on Sat 22 May 2021:
Wellington
Vince Aso (Petone)
Pepesana Patafilo (Tawa)
Peter Umaga-Jensen (Wainuiomata)
Hawke's Bay
Danny Toala (Hastings) - I haven't seen the team sheet, but assume he'll play
That's all I've been able to find. -
Vince Aso (13) and the up and coming Riley Higgins (12) making club rugby look fairly easy yesterday:

That was abysmal by the red 15 near the start

That's funny. Good speed and determination by PUJ but that ball carrier must be waking up at night thinking 'why didn't I dive?'

They picked Ngani Laumape for the Hurricanes' player episode of 'All Access'.
