@Bones I think he would be fine if pushed back there, guess part of the issue having rookies outside him past couple of weeks wont help either (realise he's been struggling for more than a couple of weeks)
I hope you're right!

@mariner4life same laws of physics apply
Does it though? What's the law for a knock on...I don't recall it being the same wording as a forward pass.
The law says that if a player knocks it forward he has to catch it again before it hits the ground to avoid a knock on. Kicking it or slapping it back is not a valid way of stopping it being a knock on. And in this case even after he tried to slap it back, the ball still travelled forwards.
The refs absolutely bottled a pretty simple decision.

What a luxury to be able to take one AB off in Goodhue and replace with another AB.
Thanks Foxy.
I was just about to say, Goodhue is in a pretty horrible vein of form. That should have been close to a try.
He just doesn’t look comfortable at 12. He’s still trying to run centre lines and he gets in the way of team mates.
Nankervil has been better tonight.

@Bones when have I steered you wrong?
In this thread!
@No-Quarter yeah I posted up the law. Refs ruling it like forward pass when it's different.

Hope tomorrow’s game is betterer

@Bones agree to disagree
No, we're supposed to have a punch up. Canterbury rules.

@kiwiinmelb what makes him a certain selection in each team? Because he’s not standing out in any of his games this year, in fact he’s probably been outplayed in most of his battles against younger and better players IMO.

Have you ever seen a side more offside around a ruck?
Well done for getting away with it.
I can’t say anything for the Chiefs offence, there is none.
Well we can Moan about a lot of things the chiefs did in the game and got away with its not going to make the ,
Chiefs any better, you can’t have a whine culture and be a champion side
The Crusaders didn’t whine ABout last week just got on with it.
Maybe there is the differenceNails it. It's one thing questioning 50-50 decisions that go against your side. Having a Team Culture that centres around whining is quite another.

It was tongue in cheek buddy, they overlooked him in our last important game
