Canes in hot form after their big win against the Blues. The best 2nd 5 in the universe. The only Barrett playing decent footy. Plus a 9 that plays 10 just as good as he plays 9 š
Saders always slow starters after a bye.
2020 has been a total fluffybunny of a year.
If the Hurricanes win in Christchurch against the Crusaders, 2020 will still be a f**king bastard but a bastard with a small drop of sweetness.
Go Canes!!!!!!

@Chris I haven't seen many critics. Most say "who"?

Best option to give Paea a start I think he is going to surprise a few critics ,he hits hard in defence and runs with power. .
Who is Paea?
@Chris See?

Watch the Crusaders v Hurricanes game on Saturday then all will be revealed.

This will be one hell of a matchup, I think we will see them both in the All Black's outside back race this year. Wouldn't mind seeing them both start together.

SRA form will only be important for the NI vs SI game. AB selection is a long way off (late Oct?) so plenty of time for all injured players to be back.
I thought they were planning on naming an AB squad the Sunday after NI/SI game.

I hadn't heard/read that.
It seems pointless to name an AB squad so early as they will need to play some NPC before the international season starts with a 2 month interval. Injuries could then force late changes.

Given the uncertainty, I think best intentions will be to name the squad early so those that need to be managed can be done so.
Iād imagine some players may need more or less game time and the All Blacks will want some control on that and having them in a squad will enable them to do so.

That would make sense with new assistant coaches. Training camps cost NZR money with assembly fees.

Yeah, I read that somewhere.
