@Duluth said in Chiefs v Highlanders:
The TAB market is pretty confident in the Chiefs
Chiefs 1.46
Highlanders 2.55A. Those are insane odds
B. This is a better opening post than just the refs names. -

@Duluth its not unreasonable, we only just scrapped past at home and we've had a few injuries since then
It is unreasonable on Chiefs form since

Edited to add these quotes from the article:
Playmaker Josh Ioane is set to make his first appearance in Super Rugby Aotearoa after a frustrating groin injury, while tough flanker Dillon Hunt appears to have recovered from the eye injury he suffered against the Hurricanes last weekend
.
However, the news isn't as good for halfback Kayne Hammington, who fractured a hand in the closing stages of the Hurricanes loss and will miss the rest of the competition, while midfielder/wing Ngatungane Punivai is likely to miss a second game due to concussion.
I'm sorry for Hammington, but I'm happy that Fakatava may finally get some game time!

that IS some good news!, im sure Ioane will take a while to get his eye in but between him and hunt we might be able to have some sort of attack
-
@Kiwiwomble I've added some quotes to my previous posts. Hammington is out for the season.

yeah, i actually like Hammington, think he's been a worthy understudy to Smith but ive heard alot about Fakatava so that will be interesting to see him get a couple of game in a row
-
@Kiwiwomble Fakatava is still very green at SR level, but he's a big talent. Has had two seasons of NPC (first year from the bench, second year starting with Weber at the RWC). Only 20 years old ...
-
@Stargazer well, he's getting to play with the best, fingers crossed he steps up and we have a good one for the furture
-
Some Chiefs team news:
Randle confirmed Lienert-Brown and Mitchell Karpik were available for selection again after both missing the pre-bye match against the Hurricanes with concussion. Lock Naitoa Ah Kuoi, who was badly knocked out in that fixture, won’t be back this weekend, however, but Randle said he was “just with family at the moment and he’s going good, he’s got his cheeky little humour going again”.

Walden has snapped and taken the whole team and management hostage.
If he doesn't I will.

Now it doesn't make sense.

@Kiwiwomble The game is on Sunday, so the team announcement will be on Friday. Don't be worried, it's is really Thursday, today.

Maybe Smith plays the full 80
