Some potentially good news.

I have often wondered how many co-morbidities are obesity related.
EDIT - no, that's not what I mean. How many people who died without co-morbidities are overweight / obese.
Wouldn't obesity be a comorbidity?

That's exactly the same point! Politics would pretty much so ensure it cannot be reported as such (which is completely fucked) when in all likelihood it is.

NHS deaths by date seems to be indicating that English mortality second wave peak will be 8 January, give or take a day.

We’ve had the company Synairgen in our AIM EIS and ISAs. Done very nicely for us 😁

Recovered nicely in recent times.

Worst daily death toll since the pandemic began yesterday. More fatalities now in the second wave than the first
Doesn’t that mirror the Spanish Flu pandemic, and was anticipated?
-
@MiketheSnow Yeah I think second wave has traditionally been worse for most pandemics. Would have hoped for a better result a century on though. I get a vaccine is available in record time but other mitigations don't seem to have worked very well.

Yes I believe so, but like the Spanish inquisition knowing it was coming didn't make it any more pleasant.

Even better if you got in during 2018/19, sold a bit mid year and the bought back in. Would love to claim credit but all down to the underlying fund manager.

My pension portfolio has gone thru the roof in 2020 - the year of Covid-19. Up by 12%
If this carries on, I might need to buy the manager a case of Johnnie Walker Blue Label.

With reference to a proportion of the UK population eating shit food
You are what you eat
-
@MiketheSnow I interpreted that as a different problem Mike. Kids with not enough to eat, which is a serious problem in itself rather than people simply eating shit food, which IMO is much the greater and wider problem. Not having enough to eat IS a problem you can solve with money. The other not so much.
Or am I missing your point?
