Is the game of the periods that are not halves on sky?
Still nothing in Sky's online tv guide.
-
@Stargazer that and the fact the 9 will roll the ball back with his foot, sometimes over a metre, turn it with his foot or hand to get it in the right angle to pass it off the deck.

I put this in the other thread but i'll put it here too.
I don't think I get the kick off out on the full change that they call "more free kicks". So the receiving team, having watched the ball go out on the full, only have a free kick at presumably half way.?
Or
1 minute to play, they've just scored and eroded your lead to 2 points. You've got the kick off, but need the ball for the last minute. Hoof it out on the full, watch them kick possession away, back your lineout and draw out the clock?
Nah. What have I misinterpreted?
Edit, encouraging tap restarts like we did in under 11s?

Why would they kick possession away in that scenario?

Don't know if you watched the 6N in the weekend, but there's definitely no need to use your feet for that and you're allowed to properly handle the ball, even pick it up and put it back down if you're not ready.
Welsh starting halfback was "dummying" pulling it out and got away with it 3 times before being warned that he'd be free kicked.

I was only thinking about free kicks for touch or height. Haven't seen too much tapping in pro rugby and would argue that a competent scrum or lineout feed on halfway was more of an advantage than a tap.
You're right, I'm just having a hard time imagining a tap on halfway👍

A journo's opinion is worth just as much as ours
I'd say less, and we offer ours for free, they do thiers under some mis-guided pretense they have done some research or analysis!

Don't have to go very far to deem it laughable....Tate McDermott is 3rd.
