Just saw that and was about to be 3 days late ... #booboo

Think i need to apologise to whoever said the Panthers were good, and i rubbished him. They are flying.
I can't believe the Warriors are winning games. Payton definitely putting himself in the frame for a gig somewhere.

Payton is in play for the Warriors gig

Desperate times call for desperate measures I suppose. The Worriers are once again at the foot of the table showcasing another under performing New Zealand team. The Worriers should watch footage of prime Frans Botha in order the inspire themselves to great performances as he is the polar opposite of the Worriers players.
-
Also, given who Manly have out, we're a decent shout of going back to back this weekend.

We'll build their confidence back up

sadly, that's the more likely outcome...

Nah, we're fucked - I'm going to the match.
-
@South-Africa-Man I think this is the only Botha that could get a rise out of an NZ league player
-
@South-Africa-Man Well said bruv. This should inspire them.
-
@canefan and then he said nah!
Did not see that coming. Smart guy imo. For a number of reasons!

Yeah read that. And apparently the Warriors turned down the Walkers, who were dead keen. Anyone got matches, we have another dumpster fire to light!
-
I'm pretty stunned.
Smart move Todd. Take the cowboys gig
We're fucked.

If we were a basketball team we’d be the Knicks
The really cynical part of me says, if Todd really wanted the job, the other stuff would have been worked around.
This same cynical part says Todd has been inside the club, knows the atmosphere, knows how the owners and management works, knows the roster, and has said "yeah nah, fuck that"
-
reports Blake Green to the Knights effective immediately.
bye Blake.
-
@mariner4life Wow.....I thought he (along with RTS) has been the Warriors most consistent performer during his time at the club.

Huh? He's been a mixture of actively shit (pretty much all of last year) and occasionally really good (the match where after the boss told him he was out). I thought we needed a player like him when he was signed but he was past his best.

The Warriors have always struggled to recruit at the top end of players and coaches for obvious reasons. Throw COVID in the mix and Payten saying his wife's dad is going through chemo then signing a three year pact with an overseas team is not very attractive (if you have other options)

absolutely the rational and realistic explanation
i did say the cynical side...
