Cricket: NZ vs Aus
-
Erasmus does us over again. Getting an LB in Aus for a Kiwi is about as likely as me finding Painite in my back yard, which is appropriate given the Aussie captain and the name of the discoverer.
I had to go out but they were talking earlier about trying to get a ball tracker on the Morrison to McDermott LBW. Did that happen? Didn't actually think it was possible but would love to see it.
As for Kerry, just don't laugh at your own jokes, as I said, or sound like you are amusing yourself so much. It's a bit weird.

Southee with a couple of junk time wickets to disguise his hundred coming up.
-
@mariner4life Hussey doesn't really annoy me too much - but, I'm usually making coffee or getting a beer from the fridge when we cross to the cricket lab.
Agree on Mark Waugh - according to his brother, when Mark was walking off after scoring a century in his his first test he looked up at the players enclosure and said to Border - "I told you so - you should have picked me earlier", so I'm not really expecting him to take many prisoners.
Cleaning up the tail, but too little to late.
-
well, we took 10 wickets, that's something right?
-
@mariner4life wasn't looking likely an hour ago

@mariner4life Last five wickets for 33!!! Pretty good even though they started slogging.
Lets hope we're not going to come out and find how much difference the extra speed of Starc and Cummins makes on this pitch. I.e. that we're jumping about and end the day at 40/5 or something equally awful.
I want to see our supposedly good players like Latham, Nicholls and Watling really stand up in support of Kane and Rossco.
-
Unfortunately when we are talking about the commentators we probably aren't doing well on the field.

Yeah. Innings all over but we have to do something really special now.
We pretty much have to bat for over 2 days and only bat once. Then hope that the pitch falls apart.
If it does, it will be deemed dangerous and will be called off.If a miracle happens and we get a win it will be too smokey in SYD to play the decider.
Supporting the Craps over the years versing Aus has made me a little negative.

pffft hahaha the first ball is 148!!!

Just gently rolling the arm over at the moment

Full delivery bounces over the keepers head.
That said, the keeper is standing too close.
-
Starc trying to keep it full and do Blundell for pace like he's a tail ender. That tactic certainly worked against Jeet, Blundell looks like he can at least handle the full quick delivery a lot better.

Despite the belief that NZ batsman can't handle 150kph, we do actually have fast bowlers in NZ who can bowl that, so NZ batsmen have had some practice.
I agree that we have those bowlers, but not a lot of experience facing that sort of pace on these sorts of wickets.

Canβt stand Hussey. To me heβs playing the Slater cheer leader role.
