He has been moved upstairs at Montpellier so might be keen to do more hands-on coaching. Cotter would be the type of forwards coach we need.

One assumes this is what Tew referred to earlier in the week where the "self-selecting" applicants have been kept in the loop about proceedings. Hardly him being offered the job as the headline suggests.
