I didn't even go to it in the end
shit, that's a tough way to break up with someone
-
@mariner4life Well the rugby was on...you make choices...
-
Got a fund raiser disco, starting at 7. So I'll be helping set up, dressing up in my best 70s gear to get the ball rolling, taking tickets at the door, then poking off back home to watch from 8. I'm turning down free McLeods beer and disco dancing for this - better be bloody good games and results

Heading over to Manly for the two RWC games to watch with my mate - we were flatting together for the 2015 RWC in Manly so hopefully that success will continue. I assume he'll throw some meat on the BBQ. I don't drink when I watch big matches because I hate not being 100% for them.
Will watch the Magpies game at home before heading over the bridge.
Will also be in Manly, but at my mates little pub - 6pm with the whole fam for dinner to watch England v Aus, the oldest lad staying on for the big dance.
I certainly do drink during games, but I'll watch the replay the next day sober to see what I missed, and where I made a fool of myself by ranting about something that didn't actually happen.
What pub does he own/run? Not that I'd go there to watch and stalk you as I hate watching rugby at pubs. Just for future reference for my Manly mates.
-
@taniwharugby If she "done good" I assume that she watched the ABs as well?
Being in labour is no excuse.

He is a part owner of Hawkebury Brewing Company. Make beer, RTD's, wine now. They have a little pub on Belgrave St, showing all the RWC games.
All welcome!

Good a place as any to rant about this: Rugby club plans annual dinner for 02 November...
Point this out and the response is "we'll have it on the screen". Right. So the match will start at the same time the food comes out. Then you twats will want to have speeches, delusionally believing anyone wants to listen to you. And you've gone to the trouble of inviting a guest speaker.
I understand it means nothing to you all because the majority of you don't expect your teamt o be involved, but honestly. A rugby club ffs.

@Snowy oh no, she's English, she didnt care about us playing SA or Samoa, doesnt even care when we play England.
I just told her to get on with it...at fulltime!
"Rugby's finished, you done yet?" must have gone down well.

Our wedding was accidentally scheduled for the Chiefs bye weekend of the Super 12...
if it was Super 12, you could have scheduled it for the finals...

that's appalling. Rugby in Australia has completely lost its way.
