Where are you watching? What's the plan for a ripping saturday of rugby?

I'm not watching - doing all I can to neutralise The Curse of the Meldrews.

Learnt my lesson from the 2007 QF.

I will be watching. Both losses against Ireland are games I couldn't watch and woke up to see the score.

That sickening feeling when you're unsure if you're awake or having a nightmare.

Known as "1991 Semifinal-itis" or "Cardiff 2007" syndrome apparently.

I was going to do a quiet one at home but I happened to be at a Irish bar midweek which was all decked out for the WC so I've now booked a table there. Risky move for sure if results don't go my way (or even if they do...), I'll be the only kiwi rest of the group being an international assortment of friends, not really rugby fans but coming along for a gander anyway.

    Wear Black.

Working until about 4pm to catch up on shit I should have done months ago. Wash the car on the way home. Drive past Surfers for a perve. Buy some good NZ beer and then watch a week's worth of missed Home and Away eps until I fall asleep on the couch....

In all honesty i am not even sure i will invite anyone around, i'll sit on the couch outside, in front of the TV, start cracking beers from about 1pm. Curse my inability to find a winner. Switch to the rugby after the big races. Steak on teh BBQ between games, feeling loose and slightly toasted by our game.

    Bliss.

This will be me for the semi's, though with the kid - I typically prefer to watch games at home, and don't mind at all being alone. Like the beers to be close, steak coked how I like it, and being able to watch a replay of something at HT if I want

    I agree with this.

If you're going to coke a steak you should do it yourself. You just want to put enough on to take the edge off - not so much you end up numb.

One thing to do is to reset the router 30 mins before kickoff in the first game. You want the internet running at full speed ahead for this. If spark is gonna stuff up at their end there is nothing you can do, but you wanna make sure to do everything to make sure its ok at your end.
