[Poll] Who wins the Quarter Finals?

I'm taking my 10yr old to a mates pub to watch the 2 QF's on Sat - 6pm til 11.30pm our time. First taste of a proper pub session for "live" sport. He'll either love it or he'll be mentally scarred for life.
Next best thing to being there. Nothing like living and dying on every move with a couple hundred of your new best mates 👍

My brother flies in Saturday and wants to find a pub to watch QF's in. Only issue I have with that is he is a prodigious drinker and if we get anywhere early enough to get a prime position I'll be comatose before kick-off.
He normally only visits once a year but this is the 4th time since Christmas and as a result my Dr is very concerned about my liver function test results.
I hope the AB's appreciate the sacrifices I make on their behalf.

Went for the convicts, but that’s probably wishful thinking.
Do you feel unclean?
no more than when I support the six fingered lot in Super rugby.

It's funny as when I first read that, I thought that was a bit mean about the Highlanders (thinking you were referencing Southland)

I'm equal opportunity inclusive with my insults. Consider it a reference to the entire South Island.

Nearly 3 years ago, when the boy was 12, I took him up on a camping trip at a mate's farm about 3 hours west of Sydney. We were sleeping down the bottom paddock next to the creek.
After mustering cattle and hooning around in the back of the farm ute, we ate dinner at the local pub. Both the adults got shitfaced while the boy looked on. We then attempted to run back out to the farm (only a few km) before the cold got to us, and we called his sister to pick us up.
Back at the farm, we decided it would be a good idea if I drove my SUV from the homestead back down to the tent, with my mate on the bonnet of the car to spot objects that I couldn't from the driver's seat - the paddock being about waist-high in grass.
The boy's education as a man really started at that point.

i love how that is a euphemism for being wildly irresponsible
Like drinking tins all day before taking the quad bike for a hoon. And shooting stuff. And fishing in croc areas
Yeah boy, this is what it's all about.

Every fucking chance you get, before society comes and fucks it all up.

TOKYO, 15 Oct - World Rugby has announced the match officials for the quarter-finals of Rugby World Cup 2019 following a full review of performances over the 37 pool matches.
Jérôme Garcès (France), Nigel Owens (Wales), Jaco Peyper (South Africa) and Wayne Barnes (England) will take charge of the four matches in Tokyo and Oita over the weekend of 19-20 October.
In a selection that reflects the officiating team’s blend of experience and younger talent, Garcès will take charge of his second Rugby World Cup quarter-final as England face Australia in Oita on Saturday (16:15 JST) and Owens will take charge of world champions New Zealand versus Ireland at Tokyo Stadium on the same day (19:15 JST).
Sunday’s matches will see Peyper take charge of his 50th test (and his first quarter-final) with Wales versus France in Oita (16:15), while Barnes, pictured, will round-off the weekend’s action by refereeing hosts Japan against South Africa at Tokyo Stadium (19:15).

who got Skeeny?

I like the assignments.
The England vs Aus game which looked predictably unpredictable has the three Frenchman to ensure anarchy.
The France vs Wales game which was is bound to be a coin flip given both nations records in knockout games at RWC has the most stable quartet of Peyper/Williams/Berry/Jonker.
If Berry were from a home union he would have a QF for sure.

We avoided the frogs and got Owens. Everything else is gravy
