Yeah it did, but they had a perfect slow mo replay, exactly parallel with the passer at the point of release. Which Barnes saw. And couldn't get over his mental block of forward passes.
Never forget this:
"Show me again George". Absolute twunt.
Wasn't parallel with the runner, which is why it was a shit angle

That's pretty shocking. Extraordinary arrogance

I was at that game. I saw the first replay, saw that it was a try and then was talking to my dad. When they kept looking at I couldn't work out what they were looking at. I figured it wasn't the pass because it was so obviously fine ...

Hands - plural - must be going backwards or sideways,
*One hand if its not a2 handed pass, of course 😉
Maybe this is where I'm going wrong, as the top hand of a spin pass always "looks" more backwards that it is at the point of release. But then often you can't see the bottom hand as the ball is in the way. FIIK.

Job done very well Scotland
Can they beat Japan? YesWill they beat NZ? Not a chance.
Better for the game if Japan beat Scotland and progress to the QF for the first time

It's a fine line.
Hard to feel sorry for Scotland in this situation after they handed out a thrashing.
Not like it... I dunno... decided a quarterfinal or anything 😎

Better for my health if Scotland beat Japan and send Ireland to the other side of the draw!

This is still what I expect to happen.
