@MiketheSnow maybe just doing enough to get the job done bigger games to come
More chance of injury when you make it a contact game, defending rather than attacking
-
@MiketheSnow seems like a few NH teams are pacing themselves getting used to the Humidity maybe
-
Wales finally start creating again
North grubber through for Tomos Williams
Wales 36 - 7 Georgia

Great try from Georgia.
Reserve scrum half has made a big difference
Wales 36 - 14 Georgia

Georgia's defensive work outside of set play is remarkably good. They've got some individual talent too.
Biggest difference between the two is the Welsh backline runs onto good passes and makes good decisions.
I suspect after the week they've had, they'll be happy to get the win, put the controversy behind them and look at the next opponent.

They're a good team.
Could easily knock over Fiji.
Would rather see them than Italy in the 6N.
Happy to make it 7N

Brilliant from Tipuric.
Brilliant from T Williams.
North inWales 43 - 14 Georgia

@antipodean Yes having two fatties at the back of their lineout and a slow 7 in Gogordze got exploited by the Welsh.
-
@antipodean I tuned out before halftime expecting a 70pt blowout, and returned to see 36-14. (Then that last try by North - great feet and hands by Williams.)
I suppose a win's a win, like England yesterday, but will Wales be happy to have conceded 14?
-
@Disgusted-of-TW I wouldn't worry too much about it tbh.
-
Joel Stransky’s a really good commentator when the Boks aren’t playing
-
@African-Monkey I didn't see the second Georgia try, was it another pushover?

Quick tap and drive to the line. Well taken
-
@Disgusted-of-TW Scrum penalty where the Georgian 9 went quickly (not really near the mark but however) and had the Welsh defence backpedaling before being stopped 5 short. They then scored after a few pick and goes close to the line.

A few of those bench Georgians made a serious impact. They should be starting. Especially the halfback.
Nice to see Welsh use the ball and play some attractive open footy.
I think the Welsh have the best backline of the 6N.
As @MiketheSnow points out, they'd be better for the competition than Italy has been.

6 out of 10
Some glimpses of fast paced, accurate first phase ball
Wales look fit
Fell away at times waiting for things to happen rather than creating opportunities
Hopefully Owens isn't too badly crocked
Gatland has a genuine selection conundrum in the second and back rowsGeorgia never gave up fair play
They should stuff Uruguay and could easily beat Fiji off the back of a dominant scrum -

Weren't exactly racking up the tries in this year's 6N

Oh, I'm sure, and on and off for a number of years. I fully expect to see Gatland and Howley receive an award for lifetime services to the silica gel industry
