World Cup Predictions

@Tim history means nothing at World Cups. Argentina have the players to make the Semis IMO, whether they do is another question. These games will be won by small margins and I have a gut feeling the Argies will make it out of their pool over France.

@Tim So? Playing in tougher competition than France IMO building up to the WC. It will really depend on what type of French team turns up.
You win the cliché competition in any case...

How pissed would World Rugby be with a repeat of the 2015 final. Unlikely but I can still see Aus upsetting SA in a one-off.
If there is any way to have all the TRC teams in the final 4, let's do it!

What did we lead with in 2011? NZ vs Tonga? I imagine this will be a little more competitive than that. Getting a W on the board is important too, especially with no-doubt a large number of seats probably being filled by folk who don't watch rugby and think this would be a mighty victory.

This is the chance for one of the tournament favourites to play down a market against a fellow favourite. It doesn't get any bigger than this, I can't decide if I prefer us to have an easy game first, but its irrelevant now

@ACT-Crusader
I understand why you wouldn't want it, but a strong RC is good for NZ. Results are our biggest bargaining chip when you compare the money available up north.England have Argentina then France as their last pool games, followed by Australia or Wales in the 1/4s. That's a tough run before/if they even get to the semis.

@Chris-B I’m a little nervous about this first up game.up until last year I have always felt we have had an edge over the Boks , but there’s just something different about them at the minute in the way that they are coached and also the way they are playing the game with a bit more flair not to mention you just they don’t fear us.sense theirs a ton of confidence in their camp..would feel a whole lot better if Brodie had been fit..just want to get it started already.

@Steven-Harris we have to prepare ourselves for the prospect that brody won't be back

I might be wrong , but I think aus just may be the most underrated team here , particularly by the NH
I also can see them being right in it at the pointy end.
