Steven Hansen smarter than Steven Jones

God to see the AB forwards commit in numbers and actually protect their own ball, and occasionally compete on opposition rucks.
In fact, only saw the dinky flat short pass stuff by the forwards on the advantage line once, we got isolated and turned over of course when we tried it (52nd minute for the interested anoraks out there)..

Anyone called Steven is smarter on rugby than Jones

Right, was going to trash Pat. T saying he was a big lump of uselessness this week. Happy to have egg on my face. Need to light a fire under that man every time he plays. Outstanding!

Pat T’s ceiling is so much higher than SBarrett’s, I really hope this game kicks him into some consistent form. Starting or off the bench he’s a beast in the tight, he was flattening Wallabies all night.

My one real gripe. Patty T is not great at lineout and with Savea ALL hair at 6 it leaves two real targets. Read got double teamed once in second. Possibly a factor in two Coles overthrows to back.
That said, Patty T seems to have learned how to scrum, and maybe Sam W playing TH lock for Chch has allowed PT to move to LH, which seems better for him.

Retallick will be sh*tting himself
nah but good problems -
Well we know who No. 1 in the world is regardless of what the rankings say / may say in a couple of weeks.
Awesome.
And great to see the 4 years between WCs has been well spent and the GOAT Coat TM is now 'one size fits all'

Our criticism of Hansen and co was legit though. Their game plan has been appalling up to now. AND useless we bring the mongrel each week in our tight 5, we will be vulnerable against some sides.

Bring the Giraffe into the line

He's even taller than Ardie if you can believe it

If the plan requires losing the week before I'm not sure how well that'll work in knock-out rugby

Best effort by us for a while - but, where was Australia?
I was expecting a titanic effort to finally snatch away the Bled, but from the first kick-off that nearly went out on the full, they just looked resigned to losing. A very meek effort!
Not wanting to stick the boot into them , but there might be a bit of downhill skier action with them ,
so we probably need to put this win in perspective , enjoy it , but not get carried away

Are we playing knock out rugby yet? Shag is shrewd. Everything is falling into place
