Bledisloe #2

Sonny has been quietly excellent. All round improvement in effort and the accuracy is coming along. The BeaMo double pivot experiment is looking good, Cane and Ardie are looking much better because of greater effort up front. Bridge is mustard and Reece is playing well
-
Did we miss that? I took a piss based on assumption
Not bad, but far from great. Not creating much, but better defensive sting, and some great pressure from Smiths kicking.
-
I hope coles is told to take a shower at half time. What a fckin idiot. Use those 2 brain cells man.
Otherwise very happy. Owen franks will be a nervous man. I think Ioane and Smith are safe. Loose forwards top top class. And to my surprise Patrick has been ok too.
Not convinced about Reece. But bridge can be very happy. I’d still take Ennor ahead of Reece I think.

@Steven-Harris Bridges’s work rate shining through.
-
Biggest plus for me for me is how we are playing with 14 men. No headless-chicken stuff, just calmly upped our game.
-
when the forwards are doing the business, then it gives the backs that extra time and makes them look better.
Still some untidy patches, that period of penalties was shit, but at least there seems to be a bit of urgency out there.

There was once a time when Ardie was a punchline on here. Now he's probably the best player in the country.
Will be a star at the World Cup ,
My prediction

Oz are a rabble this week. Getting done by that 7 man scrum.
Franks can't make the WC squad at this rate.
Read's defence more potent this week.
More about brains - if Sio had dropped that scrum be could easily have drawn a Penalty. Laulala got a bit lower than him and was in a bad position given the previous penalty he'd given

Also: if Foley had missed either of those penalties, Brumbies fans would be calling for his head
Very costly misses
