@Machpants hmm so was this the new adventurous stuff Razor was gonna bring to the ABs!! 😳🍆🍆

@mikey07 Not sure for how long. No doubt, it will only be for preseason. I assume he's been there to cover for Mo'unga's during his ABs break.
SR franchises must have been scraping the barrel this year, because so many players - who missed out on a SR contract and would normally have joined them for preseason - have ended up taking up contracts in Japan or the USA.

That try to Tom Sanders was a thing of beauty, well, what led to it especially. Jackson Garden-Bachop kicked the ball far into the Saders' half and Ben Lam failed to chase it. Mataele did and went looking for a hole in the Canes' defensive line, making a nice break. Ball handling was excellent, with Ennor and particularly Fainga'anuku and Jordan all playing their part.
Canes playing a bit messy.

It's been noted before, but the Crusaders have an absolute abundance of talent that might play in the back three:
Reece, Bridge, Mataele, Faingaanuku, Paea, Jordan, Havili, Ennor.
Marked contrast to the days when Toddy Blackadder spent all his budget on a massive forward pack and we had Colin Slade playing wing, along with the likes of Adam Whitelock, Nafi Tuitavake, Tom Marshall, Tom Taylor et al filling spots in the outside backs.

From the article below:
... fullback David Havili will captain the side in his first pre-season appearance, and will finish the match at second-five eighth as the Crusaders test combinations.
Openside flanker Billy Harmon picked up a medial ligament strain last week against the Hurricanes and is expected to be sidelined for four-six weeks.
