Just think about it. Hammer conveniently announces he is leaving the Highlanders, the Blues conveniently improve to provide a viable alternative to Chiefs fans who want to jump ship and the wonder coach conveniently fails then takes a year off. Even BBBR decided to take a year off to smooth the transition out.

Gatland didn't pick his assistants, they were inherited from Cooper. I don't expect all will survive after this season and CEO Michael Collins was non-committal when asked earlier in the year if they had contracts beyond 2020. Barnes (forwards) would be the most at risk.

Well, maybe if the Hammetteur had gone from the Canes to the Chiefs straight away I would have done that.
Anyway, you shouldn't get too cocky, until you've lived under a Hammetteur regime you don't know how you'll react.
