@Dice looks right at home here.... A colleague of mine is mates with his partner and doesn't think he will leave but who knows in this day and age.
Didn't you already use this story for someone else?
-
@Dice no? Same colleague was ironically a bridesmaid at Prinsep's wedding. I think they are all from Chch so her source would be pretty accurate I'd say. In saying that I thought Beaudy would never move so anything could happen.
The Canes will be throwing the kitchen sink at him to keep him in Wellington, especially as he is starting to mature.

Wow - 59 million views!
Yeah, but they are all you.
That's not fair... some of them are canerbry!

So the Blues are running some sort of outreach, and sending video messages to kids. My boy got one today from his favourite Blues player - a minute and a half of sending a message.
Great initiative - will probably lock him in as a tragic supporter for years. Well done, and had a quick catchup on Insta to say 'thanks'.
Impressed, well done to the team for getting into that.

Podcast with Joe Marchant. Decent listen. Seems like a really good kid.
Some good inside info about the Blues in there. Blues talk is basically from 29:32 - 52:42.
He had an interesting pick on which one Blues player he'd take back to Quins.

@Dice Couldn't give us a summary, could you?
Said he found the pace even quicker than expected and that the notion of Super defence being poor is more a reflection of the pace of the game - defences don't have time to get set.
Training wise he said a lot of the training is as a whole team rather than breaking up into forwards/backs. A big focus on speed work throughout the team.
Raved about the skills.
Felt coaching quite similar but perhaps slightly more player lead.
Gym work more deliberate up north but also a result of the nature of the game north vs south.
Culture wise said its a very family atmosphere. No cliques. Deliberate attempt to bring history into Blues HQ.
The one player he would take to Quins would be Perofeta.
