Highlanders v Bulls

That last passage sort of sums up the Landers season. Some very enterprising play and good runs but a little disjointed in their attack.

Panic passing, just trying to get the ball away too hurried and without getting eyes up. Ghastly.

FFS Nisbett pisses me off. Says every Afrikaans name perfectly but wont pronounce Poly names properly. He's from a country with Poly words being spoken correctly all the time yet he can't even say Hemopo correctly but manages to sound like a Free State Dutchman when saying the Bulls players names.
/End rant.

I remember him mistaking Rodders for Connie years ago, or vice versa. How?
-
Gee I reckon I would take Hemapo before I took Squire to the RWC ..I know it’s only Squires first game back but Hemapo is such a tough bugger..even when he gets double teamed on the tackle he’s still driving his legs to go forward ..

That 1st half was sloppy af
Lander having no regard for ball security flinging it anywhere & everywhere
Iaone looking good but getting trampled a few times Naholo is a similar case as well falling of a tackle badly & letting ball bounce for Bulls 1st try
-
Did anyone else pick up that ruck/breakdown on the right wing with about 3-4 minutes to go? It was a Landers attacking ruck and Naholo was over it providing protection. One or two Bulls players were trying to drive into Naholo to move him, but couldn’t. They had a couple of go’s at it.
You could hear through the ref mic some laughing and a few words after it. Especially after one of the Bulls players tried to go in high on Naholo.

@Steven-Harris yeah they were hitting him hard but he is so strong and determined

Squire might need to be replaced soon.
He’s played pretty well, but is clearly sucking in the big ones right now.

Thought he's been pretty average but understandable given the time away.

Lets hope Frizzle adds some physicality

Good call...are you in the coaching box?
Finally makes a dominant tackle and gone.
-
@Steven-Harris I like Hemopo's attitude he;s just a tough cussed bugger
-
Eh? What was that call? Ref yells leave it and then when the Bulls player has the ball calls a knock on.
Either it’s leave it or it’s a penalty.

Aaron Smith's play is snappier that I've seen for some time
